I think the Europeans, who, remember, caught Obamania quite early, thought they were going to get more of the bipartisan American security shield, albeit with a charismatic multicultural veneer that would resonate with their citizens: no more Texas. No more Christianity. No more twang. No more nuclur. No more Iraq. But same old NATO. Same old bad cop to their good cop. Same old wide open Ami economy. Same old chance for triangulation.

Sherman did say “War is hell”.

I suppose I can leave my handbasket at home. Unless it can be used to carry ammo.

VDH has been outdoing himself in his ongoing expose of 0bama. His opinion of 0bama is lower and more defined that it was on Jan 20th, inauguration day

Ralph Peters has also been good at exposing this fake with his speeches to the Muslim world etc

I love the Gibbs quote in the "WND at the White House" section...

“At least you’re not leading into where you think the answer to such a historically significant and important question,” Gibbs said.

It would appear that he attended the same English language classes as his boss.

Gibbs said. “I’m not familiar with the work of the esteemed historian. I haven’t seen it. I can assure you that not knowing who this historian is, I’ll put my money on our speechwriters.”

Gibbs has no clue how stupid he really is while pretending he is very clever. I hope Obama never fires this scum and that a fat, white, ugly male remains the spokesperson for the Obama administration.

Gibbs comes off as an imbecile but he’s been a key 0bongo adviser for a long time, not just a spokesman. Gibbs helped him get into the Senate

Victor points out quite well what I have long suspected: Obama actually didn’t learn any American history while in school in Indonesia. Then his mother sent him to live with the commie grandparents in Hawaii where multi-culturalism is the watchword - not Americanism. So, there you have it. We did elect a President of the World and not the USA. Recall time!

for a long time I’ve been waiting to see the Euroweenies on the day they lost their snug American security blanket (reaping what they’ve sown my whole lifetime...)

“One word: revolution”

Actually, the revolution is taking place right now. CNBC and the rest of the msm haven’t caught on, but all of us sitting on our wallets and withdrawing from the economy in protest over the Dictator-in-Chief and his policies is having a profound effect on the country. None of his rosy projections of economic recovery will take place this year or next...and next year all the members of the House and one-third of the Senate stand for election. We can bring them down, and he and Gibbs will have to wipe that smirking, “We won” off the teleprompter.

“Obama also claimed that ‘Islam . . . carried the light of learning through so many centuries, paving the way for Europe’s Renaissance and Enlightenment,’”

I just got back from a vacation to WDW. At Epcot, on the Spaceship Earth ride, the claim is made that "Islamic Scholars carried the light of learning . . ., paving the way for the Renaissance." I can't remember the exact quote, but it was very similar to this. Riders are shown scenes of robot 'scholars' reading scrolls, followed by a art and science renaissance scene.

"followed by a art . . ." should read, "followed by an art . . . "

I’ll second your comments. My wife didn’t agree with my logic at first, but after six months of 0bama, she does.
