Sarah Palin (TIME 100 most influential people - by Ann Coulter)
TIME ^ | April 30, 2009 | Ann Coulter

Posted on 04/30/2009 3:21:30 PM PDT by SolidWood

Sarah Palin was arguably the most influential person in 2008, but no one notices because she wasn't influential enough to overcome the deficits of her running mate and win the election.

Until Palin, 45, burst onto the scene, Obama was headed for a Nixon/McGovern landslide. Palin may not have changed the election result, but she killed what otherwise would have been a rout.

John McCain was so preposterous a candidate (at least on a Republican ticket) that Palin was responsible for far more votes than the usual vice-presidential candidate. The biggest red flag proving her popularity with normal Americans is that liberals won't shut up about her. Palin is a threat to liberals because she believes in God and country and family — all values liberals pretend to believe in but secretly detest. There's a reason there's no "Stop Olympia Snowe before it's too late!" movement.

ROFL! Wait till Ann finds out Sarah's pics were posted to an Ann thread before hers were.
Here's one...:)

The combination of Palin's attractiveness as a candidate and her ability to expose liberals made her a celebrity among Republicans. The only thing I have against her is that she threatens to surpass me in attracting the left's hatred.

Not to worry, Ann! The left has enough hatred to go around.

One measure of a great candidate is the level of hatred heaped on them by liberals. Sarah Palin measures up REAL WELL!!

Need her in a special election after Obamanation and Dumden are impeached or can’t Congress just elect her to fill out anti-IHS’s “term?” Also, thanks for the photo just can never be big enough. I dream of hockey mom restoring us to a unashamedly strong world power.

Before Sarah got in the race, Ann said Shrill was the most conservative candidate out there. Which was one reason Megan McMcain developed such a deep and abiding blood hatred for Ann.

I think Ann has an image to keep up - I think a lot of people who read her work do it to whip up a delicious sense of outrage toward her. Why was she writing for Time, anyway, and I haven’t seen her column lately... is she still writing it?

No country in the entire history of mankind has ever had a leader as great as we had with Ronald Reagan.

I will tell you now, Reagan is with our Lord in Heaven cheering. Because he knows the country that made him President is going to put Sarah Palin in that office that he held. And she will make him proud.

Both of them, after showing Americans and the entire world the best that imperfect humans can do, will stand before the Lord and say, His is the way that they tried to follow. Jesus is the Lord. At the end of days, Ronald Reagan and Sarah Palin will acknowledge that they were only following Him.

The most recent column I read was a tribute to her mother. Apparently Ann Coulter’s mother recently passed away after battling cancer; that would explain why there have not been many columns written by Ann recently.

Hill is WAY more moderate than Bambi and McCain.

Yeah, and she'll leave you face down in a park if you cross her. You've got to admire that kind of tenacity.

She campaigned for her in the primaries to get her on the dem ticket.

She would have been easier to beat.
