I haven’t subscribed to any news magazine for many years. I grew up in a “Time” household and I subscribed briefly to that one. Then I tried Newsweek for a year and got seriously turned off by their “body of the week” featuring a grotesque, disrespectful photo of a corpse in every issue (I think it was in the eighties). I also tried U.S. News and World Report, again without much satisfaction. Haven’t missed them. I occasionally see the magazines while visiting my folks or in waiting rooms. Neither I nor the magazines have weathered the passing years well. Good riddance.
Have you tried World Magazine? It is an excellent news magazine from a Christian worldview.
