Alabama Democratic majority leader arrested on DUI charges. Zeb Little spent one hour in jail and was fined $500.00. If this had bee a Republican State Senator, I wonder what would be the outcome?

Relation of the Kennedys? Was Teddy with him?
Of course not! He was sleeping it off!
Zeb Little spent one hour in jail and was fined $500.00.
Is this a normal sentence for FUI in Alabama? I despise special favors for elites.
The Dems have long controlled our state. This doesn’t surprise me in the least.
Zeb Little
No mention of party in title, subtitle, first sentence or first paragraph...therefore he is a dem.
I thought that a minimum over night stay was the law. But the elitist politicians in our country, both state and federal, have their own rules and priviledges.
Alabama is the only Southern state where the Dems still control the House and Senate.
Not true —Arkansas, certainly, is heavily Dem in both houses.
And North Carolina
My bad. I have also read that Little was in an accident, and that he fled the scene.

He refused to take a breatholizer test.

Front page news nationwide, or at least throughout the South. TV News commentators weighing in, calls for the evil Republican to do hard time, or at least leave public life.
Oh, I suppose the usual national headline off with his head chanting with the obligatory (R) prominently featured as often as possible. Thats all!

I hope there are a few more charges to follow.
From a later article -
Little was also arrested for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, violation of the open container law, and driving with an expired license.
Had this been you, you would still be in jail until you saw the judge on Monday.
Then, for a first time offender this could cost you $10,000 or more.
But, you’re not a politician or a bulletproof democrat. Laws are for you, not them. I wonder how much cash he keeps in his freezer.
The Alabama Senate is close enough to take. Time to get with the program Alabama.
