I am glad to learn that as well Michael. Actually, upon further reflection wasn’t it the Dutch that wore them and were unionized, etc? Just out of curosity, what’s the German problem with mixing it up and getting in the game over there in Afganistan? You fellows have certainly changed your ways since WWII...
The problem is our people. They got the wrong message: not “no war” is the lesson from WW2, but “no tyranny”.
A minority understands that leaving Afghanistan would directly harm our national security, but thankfully the majority in the parliament and government knows that.
