£3,000 graffiti wall vandalised by disgruntled taxpayer

A £3,000 blank wall built for teenage graffiti artists by a council was painted by a disgruntled taxpayer with the slogan: "I paid my tax and all I got was this lousy wall". The 6ft high by 30ft long wall was installed so youths could practice their graffiti artwork without vandalising local property.

But ahead of its opening on October 31 a fed-up resident sneaked behind a security fence ....

The wall was built as a legal outlet for grafitti, to prevent grafitti on other buildings. Grafitti was painted on it, and somehow that was wrong. Amazing!

Good thing you added #2. Thousands of times more have been stolen from banks by people with neckties than people with ski masks.

The builders of the graffiti wall pretend that the purpose of the graffiti is to make "pretty" pictures as opposed to marking someone else's wall with your paint like a dog on a fire hydrant and the thrill of the danger of it. If you put up a wall you'll just have a bunch of girls painting unicorns on it instead of boys painting their gang symbols.
