Maybe mobs wasn’t the best choice of words...

No...I think it was an excellent choice. It clearly demonstrated the point.

There's a reason for our Founding Fathers' judicial system.

I was referring to media usage of “alleged”.

Sometimes I get a little fired up.

Your point is well taken.

Thank you.

A better explanation is that your average gun-grabbing legislator has a bunch of anti-2nd amendment bills sitting in their top desk drawer, ready to go before the next bunch of copy-cat shootings shows up in the headlines. It’s hard to think of any “crisis” that politicians can’t take advantage of, especially when voters are increasingly less likely to hold them accountable for their past or present actions in office. We like government. Government gives us stuff. I personally get little slips of paper in the mail to prove it and hear all this wunnerful stuff on the news about what guvermint is gonna give us.

Good thing it was a “gun-free” establishment and no trained staff had guns, or maybe only one or two folks would have been killed.

Gun control is a mandate for mass murdering.

With the UN loving gang now in charge, we will ultimately have to give up our guns to some UN treaty that we sign on to. Then the REVOLUTION starts in earnest.

I hope you mean the Revolution starts after the TREATY is signed, not after the gun-grabbing starts.

Krueger said the victims were Pinelake residents Tessie Garner, 88; Lillian Dunn, 89; Jessie Musser, 88; Bessie Hendrick, 78; John Goldston, 78; Margaret Johnson, 89; Louise Decker, 98; and nurse Jerry Avant Jr., 39.

“All I heard was just that someone went in there and started shooting and that he was after his wife,” said Jerry Avant, Jerry Avant Jr.’s father.

Jerry Avant said doctors called his son a hero.

“He saved a lot of lives before he went down,” Jerry Avant said.

Tammy Clark’s mother was inside the nursing home when the rampage began.

“To my understanding he was shooting at the residents and the workers,” Clark said. “He went into the room and shot some of the people right there in their beds.”

While I don’t know any of the details of this , I believe you are right. Zero made people promises that there is no way he can keep. The realization of that is starting to sink in. That, along with job loses is going to create a lot of despair. We are going to see more of this. The media helps by giving broad recognition to the crime, Just what the perp wants. Most of them know they won’t live through it, nor do they want to, They want nationwide recognition.
I quie honestly believe that a lot of this IS the liberal left’s fault. The conservative way of dealing with this should be to keep incidents like this only on city wide news.
Here again, the Sarah Brady folks will be lapping up the blood of these poor people and making sure it’s major news all over the world.
Prayers for these people and their loved ones...

Thank you all...none of my inlaws were involved, thank God. They live in Pinehurst near Carthage, and once lived in Carthage, so I wasn’t sure whether my SIL worked at the nursing home in Carthage or not. My other brother-in-law reached his brother and let me know.

Nope, This Texan aint givin’ em up’ Yep, I know it might cost me my life, but I ain’t livin in a place where decent folk can’t be armed. It don’t take too much imagination to realize what this country would be like in that situation and I don’t want no part of it. Crime would be real profitable where a gang of two, one with a knife or a club could obtain anything they desired. With the lack of morals and the racial tensions that plague this nation, along with a lot of people who simply think the world owes them something, I have a idea of what things would be like.

It’s almost like he went room to room and shot every elderly patient he could find.

We’ve been at an elderly neighbor’s house as her sister is among the dead. This is far reaching in my area as everyone knows everyone here, particularly all of the older folks.

Please gice us some news references to two incidents in the past month of these type of “murder of innocents” you describe. Please. I’m not saying that such events haven’t occurred in the past twenty years, just that you cannot point them out occurring as frequently and recently as these two shootings.

If what you say is true, then local news in large cities would cover them. So please back up your assertions.
