BLACK HAWK THREE

NEW LEADERS

With a bonfire as a backdrop, U.S. Army non-commissioned officers assigned to the 172nd Infantry Brigade welcomed 22 graduates into the ranks of leadership at the first-ever Blackhawk Warrior Leader Course on Forward Operating Base Kalsu, Iraq, March 6, 2009. The week-long accelerated program focused on more than 20 hands-on, performance-based skills ranging from Iraqi security professionalization to fundamental lifesaving skills.
