Tell the not-so-federal Federal Reserve to take their dirty rotten hands out of your pocket. They are redistributing the people's future wealth to the bankers.
Where is the public outrage? How many banker and Wall Street bailouts do we have to endure? For the last several weeks Americans have been on the edge of their seats. They are outraged because a bailed out, bankrupt company named AIG was too big to fail in the eyes of some politicians and received $182.5 billion in taxpayer dollars to keep their doors open. The current revulsion was over millions paid out in bonuses ranging from $165 to $220 million and counting. Bonuses were “showered like confetti” on AIG employees, according to Attorney General Richard Blumenthal. Many think if our government would have let this company file bankruptcy these issues would have been dealt with the old fashioned way, Chapter 7 or 11.

I am not outraged at AIG bonuses. I’m outraged that DC knew about the bonuses and ok’ed them. The proceeded to play dumb.
The public outrage will occur when the bills come in. By then it will be too late.

The Fed is only a tool. And the less that the dollar is worth, the easier it will be for the Government to pay the debts. ;-)

BTW, in 2000, global corporates were complaining daily, because they couldn’t control the Fed. Now they control the Fed, or you wouldn’t be seeing the big bailouts of foreign business.
We need new, pro-American business, government and academic leaders along with a better political climate for small, domestic businesses.
People wanted change though. And they’re going to get it - in spades.

Here comes a private bank consortium pledging a trillion of our taxpayer wealth (at least) to bail out uber rich bankers. And certified by our thoroughly corrupt, disgusting, representatives and senators. Contrast these scumbags with our founders, if you can possibly hold such disparity in mind. Those who pledged their lives and fortunes to freedom and liberty for the common man, to those who would sell their children into slavery for a campaign contribution.

The Fed is not elected but appointed and answers to no one basically. I think it should be dismantled.
No, don’t make silly comments like that to me...you have seen my post and should no better. I like serious discussions (usually). The point is the Fed is accountable to no one...money was given to AIG initially through the Fed and without any government action which is why they still have the fat bonuses. The fed is in bed with Wall Street. There needs to be some accountability.
