The last verse of the Prophet Amos says it all: “When I have Israel forth from the nations where I scattered them, they shall plant, harvest and enjoy the fruits of their labors; I shall plant them in their land and they’ll never be uprooted again.” Anyone who wants to quibble with that is quibbling with the God of the universe and of Heaven itself. I am more sure of that than I am of my own life. I lost faith in the CIA a long time ago.
I imagine the birth rate thing will probably get them in the end. There will still be “Israel,” only all of a sudden it won’t be jewish-only, it’ll be half-muslim/half-jewish. They have universal suffrage, so unless they decide to no longer be a democracy, demographics will just catch up with them.
