They’re going to make this look like all CEO’s are evil.
“Theyre going to make this look like all CEOs are evil.”
Yes, that’s the plan. Wall Street= evil.
CEOs taking plane rides, getting bonuses, MAKING MONEY.(The noive!)
“Capitalism is bad, this is not the time for profits, we have to redistribute the wealth, pay reparations, tax the heck out of the earners, give freebies to the Acornites.”
Yeah, well Muslims have the same problem.
These guys, of all people, should be comprehend the value of PR and image.
If you want to distinguish yourself as honest, it’s going to be HARD WORK now. You need to publically disown and discredit those of your ilk who are bad actors.
Do you have a specific history book in mind?
CWII = Class war
Most of them are. The position tends to attract sociopaths.
It’s not a bonus! It’s a retention award. That’s funny. But if you’re going to be a scheming weasel, don’t let anybody record you doing it.
Well, if that’s the case, then what is the problem with regulating them? Unless the government attracts even bigger sociopaths.
Big business and big government are flip sides of the same evil coin. Only a sociopath would want (or accept) the kind of power CEOs and politicians have.
They sound like Democrats. “We won’t call it pork, we’ll call it INVESTMENTS in infrastructure.”
And what is their historical return on investment? For example, when Clinton spoke of “investing in the poor” how much has that investment paid back. Negative billions, I suspect. If it were a hedge fund, it would have been closed years ago. But instead, these investments are far riskier, because the investors not only stand to lose their money, they stand to lose their country for their children and grandchildren.
The guy ranting in the video reminds me of Murtha calling all of our troops murderers without one single soldier having been tried in a military court. Does this moron know anything about what is being discussed in that audio clip? Does he have any evidence that the individuals being informed of the “retention award” were involved in any way with the misfortunes of that particular company? Talk about misinformation.
“The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich”
All the CEO’s on Wall Street are evil.
If they were merely incompetent, they’d just accept their lumps.
Think about this: we (the US outside Wall Street) would have a better financial system, with less systemic risk, if we fired everyone on Wall Street and replaced them with crack-smoking howler monkeys.
Precisely. In a just society, every man jack of them would be whipped through the streets before a jeering mob.
As a factory foreman the only performance bonus I ever got for exceeding expectations was a fruit basket. Had I failed to meet expectations, my bonus would have come in the form of a pink slip.
I’ve got an uncle who is a successful businessman who has made it to the top of the heap on a couple of occasions. He’s a good man and the only reason I believe there are a few good men at the top. He’s a good Christian man who says the business world far too often lacks ethics.
