What happens after April?

Most likely they are counting on that stimuli care package to cover the next three months. $500 checks, more food stamps and another unemployment extension.

New York has already had to borrow $212.5 million from the feds to keep the unemployment payments going out.

“IIRC this is the second State claiming such problems with Unemployment Insurance Payouts. “

There are several states that have been collecting federal money for unemployment insurance payments because their money ran out. The MSM just tries to keep it mostly hush.

Why are we worried about unemployment?

We need to feed Africans and build schools in Africa. Aids medicine in Africa. Global warming. Coupons for digital TV.

There's priorities. Unemployment funds are way down the list. Greedy capitalists .... shame.

Missouri went for McCain. It's the first time in 100 (or more) years that this state voted for the candidate who did NOT win the presidency.

On election day, I was thrilled that Missouri went for "the loser." I suspect many people were disappointed - but as time passes, I predict more and more citizens will agree with me. We will be able to brag that "we got it right for over 100 years: even when we voted for the loser, we turned out to be right."

At least that's my hope!

McCain won MO. The DBM called it for Obama and put MO in the Obama column, but McCain won MO.

This is what most people I know do when they get laid off. They don’t look for another job until unemployment benefits are up.

My county went for McCain by a larger margin than did the state-once again, those s**tholes called KC, St Lousi (not a typo), and Columbia overwhelmed the rural voters. But it is a comfort knowing when I am out and around my town, that a majority of the people surrounding me were not BHO voters.

A lot of states are struggling with the payouts. One of the tax breaks that could be put in the “stimulus” bill is to eliminate federal taxes on unemployment. States could then reduce the unemployment paid weekly by 10% or so without any net reduction in what the jobless person receives. States could also eliminate their state tax on compensation and then adjust payout amounts.

Citizen’s grand juries

We need volunteers to coordinate and form citizen’s grand juries all over the country. Evidence of Barry Soetoro-Barack Obama’s ineligibility/illegitimacy for presidency will be presented to those Citizen’s Grand Juries for their decision on indictment or presentment. If you want to coordinate National or state or local effort in this matter, please e-mail me at dr_taitz@yahoo.com

Thanks for the heads up.

And for those of you who seem to know everything but don't know all of the facts. Stop being lazy and do some research before you post something that make you look stupid.

MISSOURI voted for McCain.

What happened to all the employer contributions for unemployment during the GOOD times when unemployment was low?
As an employer I paid about a 6% tax on payroll to unemployment, plus another 1.5% to the feds every year.

When the times were good, the state was raking in the cash.
suddenly they are broke? Where did the money go? Where Where?? No savings for a rainy day????
amazing........but never surprised that government wouldn’t save anything.

Same in my town and county. Our street was 10-1 mcCain Palin signs.......and the county reflected very favorably.
KC StL columbia were big OObama.....predictable tho.
The margin favoring McCain was within 2000 votes statewide! hehehe That drives the moonbats crazy.
