My guess is that it will fall to around 6,500, but then start a rally as bargain hunters from around the world snap up the stocks at depressed prices (there are too many people out there who want to be the next Joseph Kennedy, who made his fortune by buy depressed stocks during the Great Depression and riding it right through the post World War II boom).

I strongly suspect the bottom will be much closer to 7,000 than 8,000 by the end of the third quarter.
Stockholders are thinking taxes from the Democrats, on top of all the ‘failures’ and ‘bailouts that aren’t’.

It’s still higher then the 7500 it posted a month or so ago. Dow is gonna dance between 8 and 9K for the next three months imo. Summer is going to be the telling factor how the economy for the next two to four years (or ten) is going to turn out.
