At my house we’re all joining the NRA today. And I might go buy more ammo.

I am noticing an amazing surge of American Flag lapel pins on people, especially African-Americans and liberals. I wish I had the opportunity to rip them off and shove them down their throats. Imagine where this country would be today, if they had shown this kind of support and patriotism for this COUNTRY not just a man, in the last eight years.
Ummmm, no thanks. I can find better things to do today, like watch paint dry on the walls.
I will be painting our downstairs bathroom today. Can’t think of a better job for today!
It was a trust for the people to keep....and apparently, the majority wish to throw it away - by giving all power to one man and his cohorts. Our forefathers abandoned allegiance to a king, but today the people want to crown a new one.

You know this liberal guilt thing is too much. Now if it was a black person, I can understand it. I understand it’s an emotional issue for them and I support them in that.
I sadly don’t feel the same for other people’s content of character. Especially one who palled around with so many anti-Americans. I can’t get over that. At best I can only hope that he did it for the cynical gain of power.
But that’s the best light I can put on it. That and that almost every political instinct the man reveals is contrary to mine.
I love that my country can show such promise to anyone. I hate the vehicle of the actual person who I sadly distrust. Please, prove me wrong.
But the rumor about the US taxpayer paying for abortions is not warming my heart. How is that uniting us?

What does he plan to do that he needs all this protection? He keeps talking about making sacrifices for the USA- if he needs that much protection, he must be planning something even sheeple won’t stand for.

I’m home and watching House. all day marathon for guys like me who don’t like to watch Coronations....(or is it Assumption into Heaven)
Well, we had one heck of a backlash in ‘94 with Newt’s colossal sweep.
Whoever it is, hope he has up to date charts for Mombasa, Nairobi, and Jakarta.
My tv’s off, but I’m thinking Washington is looking like a huge Walmart on Dec. 26th right about now.
With probably the same kinda outcome.

There will be no successful attempts on his life in his first term. Besides, even if he were “mortally wounded” - he’ll recover. He is, after all, “the one”....
I've never heard of that either, but I would imagine he has more death threats than any politician in history! There ARE people who know what he is & DO NOT want him inaugurated today!
This must be what weird kids who cut themselves feel like.
I want to watch so I never forget how I feel right now. Take it and use it for extra motivation for 2010, 2012, and beyond.
They beat us but good. Let them have their day - the real work starts tomorrow.
Better pack a lunch, libs, because we’re going to do everything possible to see to it that we never get our faces rubbed in it like this again.
