Smith tried to put her down at the end by commenting that “serious” conservative National Review authors don’t like her. She responded they’re upset just because they can’t sell as many books as she can.
The point is, we need both “serious” conservatives and Ann to counteract liberal dominance in the media. Some would says she misrepresents conservatism and gives it a bad name. But instead she points out the hypocrisy of liberals in a way most people understand and her humor (sometime outrageous) makes it all the easier to read her books.
Very well said. I agree completely.
You're right IMO.
And there's many of those 'Ann is bad' hand wringers here on FR.
I think they post from the Country Club right before tee-off, or the Tennis Pro shows up for the lesson of the day ;-)
(but unfortunately, Ann has bigger gonads than most republican (cough) 'men'. Except for the likes of Dick Cheney and Tom Delay they're nancy boys.)
