The IDF received the green light Wednesday for a series of operations against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, after more than 60 mortar shells and Katyusha and Kassam rockets pounded the Negev.
The barrage hit communities throughout the South, reaching as far north as Ashkelon and as far south as Kerem Shalom. At least two Grad-model Katyusha rockets were fired into Ashkelon on Wednesday, and a Kassam with extended range hit Netivot.

We’ve seen this play before. As soon as the IDF starts to do something effective, the UN (on cue, led by France) will get involved and try to broker a cease fire. All the while, the MSM will play up Palestinan suffering (cue Green Helmet guy). The US will initially resist, but after a few days will join the choir. And, of course, the current Israeli leadership will do exactly what the US says. If recent history is any judge, nothing will be resolved.
I never like the thought of young kids in during Heavy OPs either being used as human shields or getting mangled from collateral damage with civilian casualties. The problem is that Hamas is like being out on the streets, you show weakness and restraint and they go for the throat. You go in heavy and they back down and take time to rearm and and train new dudes.

Its unfortunate that Israel did not get all the land that the Balford accord had alloted them. Its unfortunate that the surrounding ARABS did not welcome their brothers in to the land that was stolen from Israel to make Jordan and the other countries. So now they live in tents. What’s really going to be unfortunate is when God returns all of Israel to His chosen people.
Destroy the power station and cut all electric, water and food supplies to Gaza. Then give Hamas a choice; leave or die.

It’s sad, but they ain’t all human shields, you don’t have to be that old to handle an AK, I know I could deal with one at the ripe old age of 8. We’ve just gone too far down this path for anyone to back out. Someone has to win and make life miserable for the other side before things get better.
Yeah, give people with absolutely nothing the threat of having absolutely nothing. That one will definitely work. And make recruiting suicide bombers even harder, of course.
As an aside, those of us willing to die don’t make the news, it’s gonna be the dead kids that make the evening news. And where does that leave us, except with more Arabs hating Westerners?
Simple solution, but would take guts the Jews lack:
(1) Evict all Muslems from Jewish lands.
(2) Clear and maintain buffer lands.
Whenever a rocket lands in Israel the response should always be an immediate and devastating attack on the exact location from where they were launched, no matter where that location may be.
Well, providing love and caring doesn’t seem to work. Nor does tolerance. Nor does acceptance.
There is only one thing to know. The people on the other side of the wall want you dead and will not stop until you are.
So you have a choice. Continue being bombarded and killed or destroy your enemy.
