The View's conservative cutie Elisabeth Hasselbeck stunned viewers today by throwing her support behind president-elect Barack Obama. Executive Producer Barbara Walters asked Hasselbeck, who campaigned with John McCain's running mate Sarah Palin, how she felt after seeing McCain/Palin go down to defeat on election night. Hasselbeck said her daughter Grace, 3, had asked her who won and who lost the election. "No one lost," Hasselbeck said she told her child. "Seriously, today is a victory for this country." Hasselbeck said the massive voter turnout and the excitement of the presidential contest inspired her. "I will get in a long line of supporters … for this president," she said.

Until the Moonbat Dems started their Hateathon with Bush, it was traditional for the country to unite behind its President, believe it or not. Not the president as a man, but the Presidency as an institution.

I will show him my support by continually offering my advice as to how he should handle things.

90% of what I offer will be the opposite of what he’s going to do, but I will have supported the president and my country.

I’ll also be looking for Comedy Central to retool “Li’l Bush” into “Li’l Obama”, and for Oliver Stone to come out with his feature, “O”.

I told my kids the same thing.

lol...doubtful. ...unless you told them (on Nov. 4) "today is a victory for this country" and that you will "get in a long line of supporters for President Obama."

Well, did you?

It's after the election. I'll support Obama as president in sense of leader of the nation and I hope he does right.

Of course, when he tries to keep his campaign promises I'll will oppose him.

I honestly can’t think of anything good to say about Obama. It seems we have elected an American Nero.

Never forget that Adolph Hitler was elected by the voters.

Uh...Elizabeth, in case you haven’t read the post election anaylses, the turn-out was not massive. Not as much as 2004, and Repubs did not turn out.

She is so weak, and is SO EXACTLY WHAT’S WRONG with the Republicans.

She sold out and is trying to hang on to her job. If she still said she didn’t support Obama, she’d be canned by ABC and lambasted by the hags and bags. She’s just another fake RINO on TV.

"No one lost," Hasselbeck said...

Elisabeth should become a stand-up comedian.

That is the funniest thing I have read in weeks.

I think she is just showing her fellow co-hosts how to respect the office. They obviously need a lesson in that.
