I’m sure the Mormon temples are being guarded extra well and Mormons are used to vandalism against their buildings. But I think it is clear that anyone who made a substantial contribution to the Yes campaign can probably wave bye-bye to any chance of running for political office. Their names are public and the gays will destroy them before even the primaries and the current Republican Party will roll over and play dead. This is one way of silencing opposition—force them into a closet.
Mmmm, yes, but the republicans should point out that they are NOT over 50% of the population, they’re something like 30% or so, so the gays should be watching their backs because some people who “say” they support them obviously don’t.
