Defrauded. Vote fraud and campaign finance fraud and media fraud and Obama the fraud.

I warned people early on about Indiana, we lost here in 2006. Once again they used the jobs going overseas argument.

Also, the leftist education of the youth is coming home to roost. Those kids are now voting age and are moving back into Indiana.

I imagine if you add in some vote fraud in urban areas here too, you have a cocktail perfectly mixed for a loss.

Did we all really sit here and think that the indoctrination our kids have gotten at school was never going to play a part in this?

Do you have a tent city down there for some of us so we can join in the succession? LOL

Let’s see how proud they are when O-B implements the DRAFT necessary to maintain troop levels when all those currently on active duty decline to re-enlist. They may reap very quickly what they sowed. O-B’s only hope is the economy is so bad, they can’t afford to get out.

Actually, according to their SOS’s web site, McCain has 49.8% and Obama has 49.2%. Talk about close. Who knows what it will be in the end because they have to count provisional and absentee ballots now.

Does anyone else think the large exodus from the coasts has influenced the electoral college?

I’ve seen about a million Californian license plates out here in the past years. That’s got to leave a mark. I’m not Californian-bashing, since I moved out here from CA 6 years ago, too. My family followed me.

Still, there are a lot of people who move from a coastal blue state because conditions there have become intolerable. Then they come to a red state and start electing people who will do the same messed up stuff to their new state.

I wouldn’t go that far. We will be in the woodshed for awhile, but it only took the Dems six years to take back everything.

Back in 2002, we thought the Dems wouldn’t be back in power for ages to come.

Politics changes a lot, and despite demographic changes, most voters are fickle.

We will be back.

You’re absolutely right.
Mitch Daniels (incumbent Gov) ran monstrously ahead of McCain here in Indiana. And while somewhat of a RINO, the first thing he did after getting elected in 04 was to de-certify all the unions representing state employees.
So they unions were really pushing to get him out.

Obama's huge advantage in resources also played a pivotal role in getting out his vote. And the RNC gave McCain a lot of its resources hurting other Reps down ballot. What really killed us was nominating a self-described maverick as the standard bearer and who actively campaigned against his own party. By doing that he alienated many Reps and hurt Reps down ticket.

Or in some other cases, Reps down ticket outperformed McCain substantially. For example, in 2004 Bush easily won Indiana by 21 points. In 2008 Mitch Daniel won reelection with 58% of the vote or 1,542,371 votes. McCain won 1,329,370 votes or over 200,000 less. As a result, Obama won the state.

Ah . . . a writer after my own heart--LOL. Great stuff. Not so great reality though aye?

I'm glad that you enjoyed my turn of phrase. Americans have made their choice, and the weight of Obama's win seems large enough to preclude it having been caused solely by the voter fraud (which ultimately is probably just as well). My state has decided that doctor assisted suicide is "dignified". Once we have government run medical it won't be long before, in order to control skyrocketing costs, that the government will begin to say they will not cover some expensive procedure but they will cover the cost of suicide. Incrementally the liberals are removing any respect for the value of human life. Couple that with the shift away from private property ownership and we're proving Khrushchev prophetic.

On August 24, 1963, Khrushchev himself remarked in his speech in Yugoslavia, "I once said, 'We will bury you,' and I got into trouble with it. Of course we will not bury you with a shovel. Your own working class will bury you,"a reference to the Marxist saying, "The proletariat is the undertaker of capitalism"; a popular articulation of the materialist conception of history as the inevitable progression of class struggle towards communism.

Yeah if you prefer two Ginsburgs to Roberts and Alito on the bench for the next 3 decades.

Anything less than him handing out free I-phones and plasma tv’s on innauguration day is going to be met with outrage.

Phones and TVs? Not good enough. I want a new car. So, when can I pick up my new taxpayer-funded Mercedes, Barack?

I also believe this ‘test’ that Joe Biden so aptly warned us of will come within days (or even before) his innauguration.

I fully expect a terrorist attack the day after B.O. is sworn in.

fitting and perfect quote! I have studied Marx and Lenin extensively and and happy when I see someone else has a grasp and understanding exactly of what they both believe and put forth. Although I hooked into it studying Political Economy and history in school, it was mostly put forth by radical profs trying to convert us all. I had the background and good sense to evaluate this from a conservative business stand point as at the time I was a business owner and understood the incredible undermining detriment of Marxist ideals and plans on our country.

With all the college educated people--few have been taught the difference between capitalism, socialism, communism and the growth of each and history of all. This ignorance allows the American people to be sold a bill of goods that is ripe with tyranny and poison. It is time to move forward in a positive and effective fashion to fight this. We can do it--knowledge is power and power is not made clear unless fulfilled in action (including active inaction). It is time to act though. Thank you for your post and thoughtful, intelligent, and at time poetic contribution. :-)

It's the young and single voters earning less than $15,000 a year.

Yep. I turned on the tv this morning and saw footage of the crowd celebrating in Chicago. Blacks and a LOT of young, college-age kids. Kids that pay no taxes and few bills, mommy and daddy probably still take care of things for them. Ugh.

“to maintain troop levels “

What makes you think Obama is interested in maintaining troop levels?

It's been a pleasure touching on this topic with you. I hope out paths cross again. I read a post earlier today, although forget the author who wrote that conservatives can no longer abdicate the institutions of society that have become instrumental in undermining the nation. Institutions such as education, media and entertainment, for instance have been abused by liberals to produce a society ill equipped to analyze and respond to the lies and ploys that have lead us into socialism.
