My husband and I feel the same way. He said he is going to get shirts made with the flag upside down. We feel that this country will be in great danger and turmoil now. The American dream died tonight for a lot of Americans.

Axelrod looks like a gay Hitler. Does anyone else think that?

Check out FL here: http://elections.foxnews.com/states_map/index.html

somebody screwed up and gave McCain zero and “other” his votes. It’s skewing the whole states numbers.

of course people will regret it

it’s just the economy and the GOP being blamed

this is a strong and resilient nation. the conservative movement will flourish and we’ll make tremendous gains in 2010. But we still need 42 or 43 GOP senators to derail the worst of the Obama agenda

I'm not a troll or a doom and gloomer. I'm a realist. If someone can show me we'll keep NC and IN, the situation could be saved. But I also know there is a point when you have to say to yourself that the odds grow increasingly unlikely.

I don’t agree that focusing resources on PA was chasing fool’s gold. It was definitely worth a shot. We have to try somewhere.

McCain ran a pretty lousy campaign. He wouldn’t be doing as well as he is without Palin.

So what. He has been around longer means he isn’t trolling? He has been dissing McCain all night - making it sound like it is over. I am sure people out west reading the thread appreciate that.

If he isn’t a troll then he/she sure does hate McCain. Number 1 negative poster in the tread = goldstategop.

Pennsylvania still only has 2% reporting...Fox just said that the call was made based on exit poll data

Lord Jesus, let nothing be decided until the votes are counted! Have mercy on us, Father! Nothing is impossible in the Name of Your Risen Son. Don't let this darkness come to pass, we pray, in Jesus' Name!

” but let’s face it: she is the face of the old GOP. The party will have to accept that the country has moved left and either move left with it or stay in the electoral wilderness.”

I don’t accept that bullshit. One of the reasons Bush’s approval rating has been low in the past three years is his center-left stance on things like immigration, bailouts, and spending. People were pissed he wasn’t conservative enough.

that was the most eloquent and tough response!

I wish all these experts would STFU at least till this is over. To say stuff now is to behave like the opposition

BTW...I can not stand this stupid BEEEETCH on Fox panel!

I’m sick. This is no longer the country my ancestors and my husband fought for. I cannot abide the thought of the Chicago Mafia running our government and these people inhabiting our White House.

Do these results include any heavy red areas such as the Panhandle?

Cheers!

Axelrod is on Fox and I’ve never seen him before. He looks like the “Time to Make the Donuts” guy’s sleazy brother.

Anyway, I thought I would inject a little humor with this funny King of the Hill (RIP) quote...

HANK: Mr. Harrington, you seem to have a few gaps here in your work history.
MR. HARRINGTON: Well, ‘33 to ‘45, F.D.R. was in the White House, so I was on the welfare. And in the ‘60s, you had Kennedy and L.B.J., so I was on the welfare. And then from ‘77 to ‘81, Jimmy Carter, so I was on the welfare.
