Get a grip. I know enough to know when its over. Without NC, holding a narrow straight is impossible. The American people have made the choice.

So am I, Norman...

Obama/Biden (DEM)
51.90% 1,039,316
McCain/Palin (REP)
47.28% 946,744
Barr/Root (LIB)
0.52% 10,467
WRITE-IN
0.30% 6,062

What’s worse is that EVERY statewide office—Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, everything but the Commissioner of Agriculture—has the Dem ahead at least 5% right now. If this holds—and that’s a *big* if, because there’s lots of votes left to count—we’ll have to face the fact that North Carolina is now a blue state, period.

Don’t feel badly....the nation is filled with those who want to suck at the government teat now. All it took was a majority in the nation...and I fear we have arrived.

What do you base that on?

A big RASPBERRY to all those fellow FREEPERS who blasted me when I complained constantly during the summer about McCain NOT fighting back, and telling everyone to take the polls seriously... Next time someone tells me that EVERYONE's in on a conspiracy, you know what I'll tell you. It won't be pretty.

It is hard for me to believe that the people of this country are so stupid as to turn it over, turn their very freedoms over to this party. I’m dumbfounded.

What has happened to hard work and pride?

We’ve become about entitlement, hand-outs, “government please save us”. Was it really that bad to start with? Do they not see that the very people they continue to elect and do so in greater numbers now, are the very ones that are driving this nation down the path of certain destruction?

Let them all see what they will have done. They WILL regret it.

BTW a stupid, stupid, stupid 60-year-old while woman just called cSpan saying how GREAT O is going to be... that he understands us and will help people who are foreclosed on, that he has worked across the aisle with other senators, that he has been a senator and lawyer and in IL Senate and has tons of experience. WHAT FREAKING ROCK have those people been living under?

I saw our fuel locally is down to $2.20 today... stupid people like that caller can kiss that goodbye if she gets her wish.

That is so sad about PA.

It’s such a pretty state, big, diverse in a positive way. You’ve got Lancaster and Pittsburg in the same state, how neat is that?

But for the people of PA to keep electing that awful Murtha and yeah it looks like it’s BLUE all the way.

And it’s a total lack of pride to vote for a president who spit in their faces and insulted them with that bit about bibles and guns.

Life goes on....

McCain is protesting the call of PA??? Where did you hear that? Sounds a bit like Florida in 2000. Let’s see how the votes total up. This has to be based on Exit Polls only. Not enough votes in from areas to call it any other way. Prayers up!!!!
