Amen!

Everyone is on pins and needles tonight. We’ve heard all these doom and gloomers for a while. We really don’t need it tonight - Perhaps things aren’t looking great for us right now, however, I’d like to wait for more of the polls before giving up (and no, I’m not a Pollyanna)and signing off. However, as much as I like FR, I may have to sign off earlier and turn to HGTV or USA.

BTW - I voted a little before 4 in a somewhat red (both state reps and our state senator are Pubbies and Rossi was our state senator some time back) suburb of Seattle, but still in King County. They said the turnout had been huge today - much more than usual. Jennifer Dunn used to be my Rep - it’s now Reichert (not Jennifer but better than a Dim). I’m hoping he wins along w Rossi for Gov (so we can get rid of Gregoire who stole the election 4 years ago on the 3rd recount), and also that the Proposition for more $$$$s for a stupid light rail project and the Proposition to allow medical suicide fail.

What has happened to hard work and pride?

How many kids work part time jobs today? How many have computers, cell phones, cars..etc. Kids today are spoiled....and the college kids are literally having voting parties for 0bama tonight. My cousin and her hubby have their own business and he works his ass off....and their 5 college age kids voted for 0bama.

...to all those fellow FREEPERS who blasted me when I complained constantly during the summer about McCain NOT fighting back, and telling everyone to take the polls seriously... Next time someone tells me that EVERYONE's in on a conspiracy, you know what I'll tell you. It won't be pretty.

How about aiming the blame where it really BELOMGS: GERORGE W(for worse) BUSH!

Miami-Dade is routinely refered or compared to being a bannana republic unto itself.

IN will turn Blue for the first time since 1964. MO is lost. NC is lost. FL is lost. CO is lost. NM is lost and NV is lost. That's its folks. Barack Hussein Obama has been elected the 44th President.

It's a bit early. I'm sure we felt like this about Florida in 2000 at this time.

There's a difference between reality and wishful thinking. McCain is running behind in NC and if IN goes Blue, those votes have to made up somewhere. Where?

Well, we are learning that those stupid polls having O up by double digits were garbage at least.

I just received my DVDs of the “John Adams” HBO special (which was extraordinary).

This is as good a time as ever to watch again the segments entitled: “Join or Die” and “Independence!”.

Godspeed, all.

Don’t lose heart, remember Florida is a big state the western half is very republican.
We won’t have even a shakey feel for how this is going for another hour.
Don’t get wobbly.

If things don’t turn around, I’ll be headed to the gun shop this week to get some things before they’re banned.

That's a good idea anyway. However, Mac has not lost FL, NC, OH or VA yet. Until that happens, he still has a shot.

Micheal Barone just said the exit polls are way off in all the states they haven’t called. I heard him say earlier the error in PA was like 11%. I don’t blame McCain for protesting.

Can SOMEONE give their Florida take, anybody have some take on what has come in and what is still out there, wow, this election is like 2004, Ohio and Florida looming large.

Seems like people here are confident about Virginia.

What about North Carolina.

Will McCain hold Indiana.
