Only liberals would be so cruel as to make fun of a baby in his Halloween costume.
On this blog, Wonkette, the author writes this with a picture of baby Trig in his elephant costume:

Little baby Trig must be so glad he wasn’t aborted for this, his first Halloween, because his parents dressed him up like a political party symbol to be carried around at snarling political events. Aww. Isn’t life just grand?

The comments after this are absolutely repulsive. Their disrespect for human life and a disabled child are horrendous. Yet this is the group that claims to be tolerant!

I just wanted to see the photo (hadn’t scrolled down far enough). Like watching a train wreck I read through some of the comments. It was disgusting and I will never do that again. How horrible to look at the world through those lenses.

Imagine hating someone, like they do Sarah Palin, because she chose not to abort her baby. Even worse, imagine mocking the innocent little child.

This is an example of how coarse and disrespectful our society has now become. This is typical banter with many in the under 25 crowd. Very sad and very disturbing.
I never even noticed the ads. I was so outraged by the initial post and comments.
Again we see why we are not liberals. Why make fun of a kid? Why even bring up the thought of abortion? Trig is one of many special kids. The nastiness of liberals still amazes me. I don’t think I will ever get used to them.
Putting money on Liberals to overplay their hand is always a safe bet. The Liberal party has the edge in this race but they can never let well enough be, they always have to pile on. Perhaps this time, they will anger enough barely committed people to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Now wouldn’t that be a shame.

I have a huge extended family, and I can’t imagine any of them even considering for a minute aborting. I have one cousin that is “special” and he is a delight - so honest, innocent, fun and interesting.
Liberals make me sick.
