Sen. John F. Kerry defended his controversial joke suggesting the GOPs John McCain wears Depends adult diapers, saying today its the type of ribald humor you hear at the South Boston St. Patricks Day roast or on late-night TV.Kerry, appearing before the Boston Herald editorial board, bristled at the suggestion his jab was not senatorial.

Well put sir.
I have to dissent on this particular little issue. I think Kerry is a jerk, but I specifically remember this joke making the rounds in 1996 about Bob Dole. Dole thought it was funny, IIRC, taken in the right spirit. (Maybe it’s the spirit I’m missing. I didn’t see Kerry’s “delivery.”)
Mister Heinz-Kerry is about as funny as bowl of cold instant grits.
I will always love this picture and the events that led up to it, as this was the END of Kerry every being President!
So that is the life of a over the hill gigolo.

Kerry’s been attacking McCain pretty savagely during this campaign. McCain, on the other hand, wouldn’t attack Kerry while campaigning for Bush during the 2004 campaign, and he criticized the first Swift boat ad (going against his POW friends like Bud Day).
I’ve been amazed at the way McCain’s moderate Repub and Dem buddies like Powell and Kerry have stuck the knives in his back.
Of the many bizarre things about this election, it’s that conservatives, seeing what’s at stake, will be the ones to pull McCain across the victory line if he gets there.
he must be lookin’ for a bust in the mouth...
I suppose they would if not for the problem of thinking.
John Kerry walks into a bar..the bartender says, “Why the long face?”.
What a dork.
The rice in his ass must finally have gotten to his brain.
Mr. Five-Medals-in-Three-Months-Without-Hardly-a-Scratch- On-Me shows once again how utterly he will betray anyone for political expediency.
Especially veterans of the Vietnam War.
Considering how McCain treated him so well in 2004, it is beyond contempt for Kerry to even allow an insult to his old buddy.
McCain now has more wounds in his back than Julius Caesar.
Hope he remembers we told him so after he wins on Nov. 4th.
Neither of them, of course, was in college to get the best possible grades, but to have as good a time as possible.
So this is a Caca Moment, right? Not a Macaca Moment?
This from the bunny suit guy...
and the wind surfer guy and the hunter guy......
John Kerry presents a good object lesson for teaching kids the meaning of the word crass — gross, coarse, thick, tasteless, insensitive, etc.
Actually, I believe him. (Just like when McCain said "The fundamentals of the economy are strong" was turned into a gaff when it just didn't come across the way he meant).
Kerry came across as insulting the troops, and it resonated, and that was the end for him. Usually that only happens with Republicans ( Trent Lott,Tom DeLay, George Allen etc.) My guess is, Kerry was not liked by the Rats either, so they found a new, traitorous poster boy!

That's probably true of all college students....EXCEPT for MY son and daughter who are there strictly for studying, studying and more studying! ;o)
Right Vince?
shudder
Biden or Kerry?
South Boston on St. Patrick’s Day? Is Kerry pretending he’s Irish again? (before he was French)
