“I thought the NRA was not politically for either party.”

You are exactly right. The NRA is, and always has been, bi-partisan. If you are an incumbent who supports their issues, you will be endorsed - no matter who the challenger is or what the challenger says.

I find this to be the same philosophy as being a moderate, and Rush Limbaugh has the best definition thereof. It is so easy anyone can do it. It takes guts to take a stand.

Sounds fair enough I guess. I am all for 2nd Amendment and if the challenger is not stronger than the current guy in the seat, I guess the NRA should endorse. I don’t know much about either candidate so I am glad that we continue a 2nd amendment guy on our side.
