So I clicked on the HEADLINE link at DRUDGE and it took me to the AP article. On the right side of the article -- a little way down I saw a "linky" that said "Barack Obama's IQ is 130. - Are you smarter than Barack? Take a Free IQ Test and find out."

So I took the test.

The IQ part of the test was sometime a little bit challenging, but I maybe answered them all correct..... but then the offer adds started to pop up - and this part of the test was grueling. I kept my focus up and concentrated real hard.

My reward for working this test is that I have a measured IQ higher than Obama.

I was tested as a 12 year old for placement in the "gifted and talented" programs at the middle school : 141 here (which I believe is also 1 point above MENSA's bare minimum admissions qualification). I find it hard to believe that BHO is as high as 130-he strikes me as an Empty Suit who has had everything (college admission, editorship, etc) handed to him because of Affirmative Action. And his wife is patently stupid, as anyone who's had the dubious pleasure of reading her senior thesis knows. (In all seriousness, it read about as well as a high school term paper hurriedly cranked out a day or two before the due date.) To quote Mr Knightly from Jane Austen's Emma , 'men do not want silly wives'. If BHO were of superior intelligence, he would not have married Michelle, as her company would have bored him-dated her, maybe.

The test puts me at 138, right in the middle of my "range" on these tests of 127-151.

FReepers as a group will score higher on IQ tests than the average population.

That said, the tests are of limited value.

I got mine measured at 142 back in college , but that was before 10 years of drinking,5 years of boxing and 8 years of migraines. I honestly don’t feel as smart as I once was. I doubt mine is anywhere close to that high anymore.

Perhaps instead of trying to brag about having a high IQ, you actually prove it by knowing what an IQ test measures. An iq test is to measure intellectual potential for school age children. It is not really useful for anything else. Who cares how high anyone's IQ is? It doesn't really count for anything outside of school.
