Obama poked fun of McCain and Palin's new "change" mantra.
"You can put lipstick on a pig," he said as the crowd cheered. "It's still a pig."
"You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink."
"We've had enough of the same old thing."
The crowd apparently took the "lipstick" line as a reference to Palin, who described the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull in a single word: "lipstick."

Old fish? What the he## is that in reference to McCain. He is old. We get it. But old fish...no. I have heard/read 'cold fish' but that has a whole other, non-agist meaning. So the Huckster/Colmes and Hannity should come up with another 'splaining of the Chosen One's comment.
As far as i’ve seen most of the media is only addressing the “Pig/lipstick” comment...not the other.

Yesterday, the nation at large was introduced to Sarah Palin’s fraudulent claims of maternity by numerous photographs, video, and a timeline that made even those accepting of the ‘official’ story turn their heads in confusion.
The revelation that had been whispered among the Alaskan legislature was explosive. Sarah Palin is not the mother of Trig Palin. Her daughter is the mother. Scarce if any refutations to the contrary have come forward, and now damning incidents and evidence has come to light.
Mothers of the world have reeled back in disgust and horror at Sarah’s dangerous and possibly fatal story of flying 4000 miles even as she was supposedly in the process of entering labor a month early. Sarah needs to honestly answer for her lies, promptly.

Indeed - done right, this can be the famous "mushroom cloud" ad for McCain and Palin. 10 seconds of Palin addressing a huge, cheering crowd, including her "lipstick on a hockey mom" comment. Fade to Obambi making his "lipstick on a pig" comment. Then fade to "Change we can believe in?"
The "fish" comment can be used later in another ad.
Obambi is eliminating himself, but it's up to the McCain campaign to provide the assist. The drive-by media won't help at all.

Ok, the thing we need to do here is get the audio AFTER Obama says the pig and fish comment. I read on a post earlier from a reuters report that he immediately started talking about Palin after this comment. Does anyone have audio AFTER the initial pig and fish comment because it would show that he was indeed talking about Sarah.

How stupid IS Huckabee? The way Obama paused after saying, “You can put lipstick on a pig” made it obvious what he meant. He paused for a few second to give the audience time to “catch on” and respond. It was deliberate and there’s no way to spin it any other way.

This is exactly what Barry wants, and he won't get it. He's trying despirately to get McCain to attack from the gutter. But McCain is way too smart for that. He'll let Obambi's own words sink him.

The mainstream media is at heart, a cold and calculating business. Ratings and eyeballs are everything for them. Give it another week of Obama making these enormous gaffes, and even the media will have to withdraw their support.
Once the media changes seats to the other side of the field, it is absolutely curtains for the Dems.
