...Barack Obama reported raising at least $10 million from more than 130,000 donors today after Palin, the Alaska governor, addressed the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota, and criticized the Democratic presidential nominee. ``Sarah Palin's attacks have rallied our supporters in ways we never expected,'' Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton said. ``And we fully expect John McCain's attacks tonight to help us make our grassroots organization even stronger.''

It should be noted that this money was raised after a snivelling, whiny, petty E-mail was sent out last night by the snivelling, whiny, petty Obama campaign. This after Sen. McCain behaved like an adult and let the Democrats have their convention. He didn't go on O'Reilly, and he didn't send out whiny E-mail solicitations.

For those folks not sure whether or not they can still donate to McCain/Palin, please read the following (also from this article):

Now that McCain is the nominee, he will receive $84.1 million for his fall campaign and cannot raise any private money except to cover legal and accounting costs. His fundraisers can continue to bring in money for the Republican National Committee, which, in turn, can spend it on McCain's behalf.

McCain also can contribute any unspent money from his primary campaign to the RNC, Federal Election Commission spokesman Bob Biersack said.

So donate if you wish. The McCain/Palin campaign will let you know exactly what to do.

By sheer coincidence, George Soros’ checking account is down by about the same amount today...

That $10 million is addition to how much money the news media has spent dragging Palin’s name through the mud.

Let them spend all their cash, it doesn’t change the facts, and apparently the Justice Department refused to censor the facts for him.

"Barack Obama reported raising at least $10 million from more than 130,000 donors today... "

I wonder how truthful this is. The guy's been known to lie. I heard on Fox News this afternoon that they had raised $130,000 or so and were hoping to make $2 million, which is a far cry from the $10 million they are claiming.

They will have to buy less flags to burn and hang upside down to donate that much.

Details from the McCain donation site:

McCain-Palin Victory 2008 is a joint fundraising committee by the McCain-Palin Compliance Fund, Republican National Committee, and Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, and Pennsylvania Republican Parties. Because the McCain-Palin Campaign is participating in the presidential public funding system, it may not receive contributions for the any candidate’s election. However, federal law allows the McCain-Palin Campaign’s Compliance Fund to defray legal and accounting compliance costs and preserve the Campaign’s public grant for media, mail, phones, and get-out-the-vote programs. Contributions to McCain-Palin Victory 2008 will go to the Compliance Fund, and to participating party committees for Victory 2008 programs.

Obama questioned the truthfulness of Palin’s speech from last night. I want someone to ask him WHAT WAS A LIE? Nowhere does he cite examples. He just whines and asks for more money. Rush said today that Obama has less money than the McCain/Palin campaign. I can't find this info anywhere to back up Rush's claim. I suspect it's true but does anyone know where it says that?

$10 million?? They’ll need at least $1 billion to undo the damage Sarah Palin did to their candidate last night!

The MSM tried to strategically place that as “reinforcement” that the Democrats will respond. The MSM gives free advertising, research and attack positions for the Democrats.

The MSM are about 90% pro-Liberal.

It boggles the mind.

Not sure which thread I read it on, but the McCain Campaign raised $7 million IMMEDIATELY after he announced his VP pick, within 24 hours...and that was days ago, even before her speech last night, and during the mud-slinging about her family and credentials.

Of course, even if it were $20 million in the last few days, the MSM wouldn’t report that...they need to protect their investment in Obama. *SPIT*

The Left is scared, the Right is energized. Life. Is. Good.
