I disagree. It was a great speech.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

We have witnessed an historic moment, when America will turn away from the leftist fascists who have seized control of the Dem party through their fascist machinatians ( ask the PUMA gals they have it all on their PUMApac.org blogs). Most pundits are talking about McCains low skill on speaking, his manner of delivery, as if this speech was just another casting call for their prime time broadcasts ( idiots).!

They miss the strategic implications of the speech, addressed to undecided voters:

1) experience

2) committment to all of America

3) union

MCain not only came across as a uniter. HE IS A UNITER.And his record proves it.

Obama is essentially toast.

Obama is a DIVIDER of Americans, and the petty demonstartion by code PINK actually helped McCAin bring that message.

Thank you code pink!

It was a strategically victorious speech.

Made by the future presdient of these United States.

It was not, nor was it intended to be, a casting call speech, like those deliverd by Obama continuously. Its a false standard of judgement brought to us , courtesy of the Slimes, who thnk they will rule the election process and dictate the result.

In the days and weeks to follow, the MSM will become increasingly dismayed to find that ordinary Amerians will decide this election. All the MSM caterwalling amounts to naught.ZERO. NADA.

Obama will try to get dirty. But conservative PACS have enough dirt on Obama to have him jailed. Whether it will be used or not, depends on Obama. If Obama goes down that road, he will be a very sorry politician indeed.

Yes, it was a great speech. It hit the target dead center, and it was the right target too!

The Average Joe may have missed Fred and Co. telling the story...I thought it was very moving.

I guess I'm just a "political junkie" of the early age (thirteen) but a college man having no idea about a defining moment in a major party presidental nominee, well, that just blows me away. (shakes head)

...I thought it was very moving.

I did too but it's like watching a suspense thriller and someone already told the ending. I was REALLY moved by Cindy's college training to work with diabled children and doing it throughout her life.Even as an "junkie" I didn't realize the vast extend of which she has dedicated her life to the disabled and diaadvantage overseas.

Very impressive couple.

Now hang on a second, Sammy. Some people have talent as a speaker and some have to work at it. Sarah emits talent from every pore of her body. She is the new Reagan, even Michael Reagan says so. John McCain is an old soldier. He may not say it in a way that entertains you, but he has substance.

And he isn’t our “only damn hope.” He is a politician, and if your hope is placed in a politician then you seriously need to take a look at your life and priorities. He is a man. Just a man. But so is Obambi.

Christ is my hope and my future. I pray for our leaders but i do not expect them to be flawless.

Now just take a deep breath and consider what he said, not how he said it. Take a deep breath and consider what the other side is offering. Take a deep breath and remember we are in the fight of our life and can’t get all whiny and weak kneed right now. Stand strong and march on. There is a lot more to fight for and you don’t want to be fighting against your own candidate.

Third parties are for idiots. And you're arguing with Reagan.

Well, you're arguing against John C. Fremont and the Republican Party, Mr. Silverback.

Great! Good luck to you AND Rex!

He did, after all beat my Seahawks in overtime a couple of years ago for the NFC Championship. I was crushed at the time, but was just talking with friends tonight while we watched the Redskins-Giants snoozer what a really good game that championship was!

Mind boggling that folks don’t understand that no one wins without independents and crossover voters. By golly, that’s exactly how Reagan won, isn’t it ?

I loved the shot of the cameraman buried in balloons and white balls. He couldn't quit laughing.

Everyone seemed so happy and having a wonderful time at this convention, even the workers like this cameraman.

The only thing he mentioned tonight that I disagree with was his comment about the illegal alien in America. I knew what he was driving at...amnesty...and I simply disagree with his approach.

Build a barrier. Man it permanently.

Allow some immigrants into the US on work permits. However, those entering must already be on a list. Punish any employer employing illegals. End the practice of anchor babies. Only children of citizens can be citizens.

This is a national security issue, and not because I don’t like people of any nationality.

Maybe it’s a sign but I put my randomizer on my CD and guess what song “God Bless the USA”

I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free
And I can’t forget the men who died to give that right to me
And I’ll gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today
Because there is no doubt I love this land
God Bless the USA!

We hug all the time. I will hug him for you. He’s not hard to love. He’s like all the guys/gals who serve. They don’t do it for fame, they do it for country, for family, for buddies.

McCain is blowing it on telling the average American what he is going to do as President, not what he is not going to do, and that all he has to do is love America and everything will be fine.

I also would have liked to have seen him offer some more specifics.

A "middle class tax cut" would have been an especially nice theme to hit repeatedly. More details on "drill here, drill now" would have been very good as well.

I disagree that he blew it tonight though. I still think his "reform" theme is a strong one that will play very well with the Indies and Undecideds.

C&—I just want to add to your analysis, which was very good, BTW—that we now have to hit the Dems each day with all of the info we have.

Like last night, no holds barred.

They have had the field too long, and it is time to take it back and not be apologetic.
