The liberal media and democrats has been hammering the question "who is going to take care of the baby". Mccain campaign ought to compile a video with reporters repeatedly asking it and run it on the lifetime network maybe add a glass ceiling and some comments about women belonging in the home.
this particular exchange has to be in the ad. The way the guy asks the question is impressive and it even pissed off the female reporter up next:
"Weir brusquely interrupted, virtually shouting. WEIR: She has an, she has an infant with special needs. Will that affect her campaigning?"
just repeating this line should enrage Hillary voters.
Who knows what is in the minds of these hypocrites.....
Todd is not the stay at home dad type from what I have read.
Well, they ought to have voiceovers of all these media idiots yelling “Who’s going to take care of the baby?”
and show ultrasound photos of babies in utero as Obama’s voting record for 4th trimester abortions (the ones completed after a baby is born alive) is displayed..
Then fade to a picture of Sarah and her husband holding Trig. And Sarah saying “Taking care of the baby is well within my pay grade!”
The baby killers are worrying about the baby. I guess there’s a first for everything.
I don’t see that as an issue. Every woman (or man) should be allowed to live their lives (within the law) the way they want. If Michelle wants to not use her education, that is her prerogative. The issue is when one asks a woman running for national office, “who’s going to take care of the baby,” one is exhibiting a form of chauvenism that after years and years of political correctness one would think would be all but dead. As usual, the Dems think they know better than the people- but the irony is the more they play judge and jury of Palin’s decisions (guess a woman’s right to choose ends with the right to decide to kill or not kill your child to them) the more that they are being seen as the pandering slugs they are.
The more I see of Todd Plain, the happier I will be. What a HUNK!
Let the MSM bring the issue. Palin is a challenge of Feminism orthodoxy: the ‘feminist scholars’ hate her, but ordinary, normal women love her.
Plain=Palin
Of the many I personally have known, I could accurately place them into four basic categories (based on personal experience). They are 1) mentally ill 2) extremely indolent leading to a narcissistic, entitlement mentality or outright criminal behavior 3) willfully ignorant 4) extremely bitter.
ooh now the liberals have made up a story that its not her baby

Wow, what a ridiculous thing to attack her about. Palin’s mother is alive, probably she will come and help look after the baby, just like millions of other grandmothers do.
I wouldn’t have blamed Palin if she said “no thanks” because she was so busy with her family, but if she and her family have decided they can make it work then why not? Many working women do a good job raising their children.
If it was up to the liberals, her baby would be in a landfill!
Spot on, both of you. Sarah's what I like to think of as old time tough. I'm finally excited about the McCain ticket.
WEIR: “She has an, she has an infant with special needs. Will that affect her campaigning?”
If anyone askes Governor Palin about taking care of her baby and doing her job as VP, I hope she says something like this:
“My husband and I have always taken care of our children along with handling our jobs and I can assure you we will continue to do so with joy, unlike some who think it is just fine to get rid of babies if they consider the baby inconvenient or a punishment.”
She was already acting as a Governor so you can be assured she already has the child in a secure situation in a nurse or nanny’s care. I think she said she was pumping breastmilk to all you media NOSEBAGS.
If it were up to the liberals, their baby would have been left in the soiled utility room to die.

The Left HAD their chance and they blew it. They EASILY could’ve found a VP candidate that embraced their idea of a Leftist ‘woman’ to counter someone as accomplished as Sarah Palin. There are literally tens of thousands of them to choose from; at least ONE must be photogenic and able to string together a few coherent sentences!
There are plenty of overweight, (because you can’t POSSIBLY buy nutritious food via Food Stamps) strung out, societal leaches with three kids by three different ‘Daddies’ sittin’ home, sucking down the Diet Pepsi and Hostess Ding Dongs to choose from! They got nothin’ else to do. It’s not like the Government can’t FIND them; they send them a check each month, fer Pete’s Sake!
And as an added bonus, they’re JUST as ‘qualified’ for the job of VP as Joe Biden is, LOL!
This is such garbage. As a mom of five I know something about this. First off my husband and I had three teens 14, 13, 11, and two other children that were two months and a year and a half.
I depended heavily upon the teens to help me out. They did and everyone was better for it. For the teens it taught them patience and responsibility. Sure they werent thrilled to change diapers but they know how to take care of babies now. They became protective and teachers for the little guys.
For the little ones they had older brothers and sisters to look up to and learn from. It brought our whole family closer with everyone sharing, thats what real familys do. The little ones are now seventeen and fifteen. They all still call, text, and email each other. The younger ones ask for advice and share with their older siblings. The older ones love the fact that they do and still mention with fondness growing up and helping take care of the babies.
and I say
we have always been the party about respect for our fellow brothers and sisters.
