Democrat National Convention-(The ascension of the messiah) LIVE THREAD - Day 4
http://www.demconvention.com ^ | 08.28.08 | WakeUpAndVote

Posted on 08/28/2008 9:36:43 AM PDT by WakeUpAndVote

After last night, there should be no doubt in anyone’s mind that "He, Who's Middle Name Must Never Be Spoken", is a well rehearsed, finely groomed American superstar.

What is the difference between someone like Brittney Spears and BHO? They both came out of nowhere. No one knew anything about them until the train wrecks were in sight. From day one they were told by their handlers what to do or say. How to act, how to respond, all to prefect the desired image. Everything choreographed and timed to make them appear appealing, flawless and charismatic.

Make no doubt about it. BHO is a manufactured candidate, hand picked by Marxist worldwide to be THE ONE.

Did you notice that Michelle color coordinated her and her girls dresses to Barak’s tie, too?

LOL!! I didn't see that--I had to avert my eyes from the Great Obama's greatness! ;)

Fox is reporting that people seated up in the nosebleed section were not clapping much. I am just stunned by what I saw and heard this evening. I thought Bill Clinton was arrogant and narcissistic but Obama beats him by a mile.

Who did the music? It sounds like a cross between Trevor Rabin and Michael Kamen. It’s like it’s almost National Treasure, but then it flops out.

I'm not sure who did the music, but I have to admit that when I heard it, after such an all-encompassing oration, climaxed by Beijing fireworks and teary-eyed worshippers, my heart welled up in my chest at the thought of the post-racial, post-political Saviour who is everyman, who is both black and white and gay and transgendered and conservative and Marxist, who will magically cause all Washington inertia and divisiveness to end, who will part the waters of Katrina with the staff of Mozilla, who can put all of us to work at high-wage jobs building hydrogen wind cars and algae farms, and I cried.

It's the same stuff they've been pushing for many years.

I have to give him credit for saying government programs don't take the place of parents, though. It's the first time I heard a democrat say that.

He did a great job delivering his speech as you say. I just hope it doesn't get him a big bounce.

I was just watching msnbc during the foxnews commercial. Boyoboy are they embarrassing themselves. Even the DNC wouldn’t be this effusive. These people are beyond disgusting...

I saw the speech somewhat differently than the Fox News Panel.

As usual, the first part was spent hating President Bush and trying to associate Senator McCain first with President Bush and then the hate.

Then, there was a try at making Obama and his family just like everyone else.

When he got to specifics, they turned out to be the usual liberal nostrums. Cut and run from Iraq as always, promises to solve the energy crisis without new drilling, and so forth. He claimed to be able to give a tax cut to 95% of the citizens while spending enormous sums on his new programs and charities. Implausible claims are bound to seen by some as easily secured promises; however, real people with real experience will see the weakness of empty promises.

He concluded with scary emoting that made him look like some type of fanatic.

His speech, could be a sermon and was delivered like a Protestant sermon. Senator Obama did learn something from Jeremy Wright.

The speech was nothing more than a politician's prayer for political power.

Good gracious...failing schools and poverty in Chicago...let me think, who has ran Chicago forever...could it be DEMOCRATS??

~~~~
And he was intimately involved in the failed program that lasted a good # of years to reform education in the Chicago schools .. with his buddy, William Ayers .... $40M worth, I believe. It’s all over the internet; the Annenberg Challenge.
This speech is filled with ammunition. All this contradiction about old, big government program spending for our poor little people who live like we’re East Europe behind the iron curtain, followed by tax cuts for 95% of us. This crap about how horrible our corporations are and how he will raise corporate taxes. Where in the hell do these liberals think the American people work?
The speech helped their base, but this empty suit cannot fight without a teleprompter. Who can with so many contradictions?
I do not trust Hussein. He is to cocky. He has done nothing to win my respect. His change is old Liberal ideas that the Rats have been trying to sell for more than 50 years.
They had a dozen better speakers than him at the convention.
There are millions of people that would make a better president. Color is not an issue because he has no color, you can see right through him.
“Thanks for the link to the Kurtz podcast!”
That podcast is almost as scary as the crowd in the stadium tonight. The good news is, that between that broadcast, and tonight’s debacle, I am ready. We just have to take it to him, and not let up.
“I’ve just been sitting here repeatedly mumbling: Oh. My. God. This is beyond frightening.”
I agree! We have to fight for this country and the future of our children.
Heres what I don’t get from the little blurb I caught from Kristol...he said Obama said something along the line of McCain not being able to take love of country for himself as he has it too....and that it was a brilliant moment from Obama. Take that blurb and dub it over Ayers trampling the flag add in his terror history and ask the question whether or not someone who loves his country would spend time with filth like Ayers!
