This is terrible. Prayers for the victim and his family.
Another one?!!
Arkancide.
seems to be a pattern
I live in LR. He hasn’t died.
Dirty looks for my neighbours, prayers for some stranger out there.
Probably a Hillary supporter.
That is too bad. Glad that the police took care of business on that one. Should be interesting to see if they can figure out a motive.
Awful. Prayers to his family and friends.
Prayers going up. Very sad thing. My heart goes out to his family.
A shooting at the headquarters of the party of gun control? Now that’s irony. So Dems, still think carrying weapons for self defense should be banned?
Prayers for the victim & his family.
Surreal that Hillary announced the death.
Prayers for the family.
They live in N.Y. state and she is their junior representative. They have not lived in Arkansas in years
Should not the DNC or the state Democratic party made the announcement?
Seems strange to me
“Hastings says Gwatney was shot multiple times in his upper body. He says there is no known connection between Gwatney and the gunman. The gunman sped away from the headquarters and was shot dead after a police chase that ended in Grant County. Police have not named the shooter, but they said he was 51 years old.”
No known connection?
50-50 one will become known, and it’s a woman.
This is a sad day, regardless of the perp’s motivations and the victim’s political affiliation. In the USA we traditionally settle our differences at the ballot box. Let us all pray not only for the soul of the victim and for his family, but also that this is an abberation that won’t be repeated.
((prayers for family and loved ones))
Incidentally, FWIW, the local LR stations are reporting a man fitting the description of dead assailant pulled a gun in the offices of the Baptist General Convention of Arkansas a few minutes before the shooting at the Rat headquarters and claimed he just lost his job. He left without further incident.
Terry Hastings of the Little Rock Police Department said Bill Gwatney died at 3:59 p.m. at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences hospital.
Hastings said they have preliminarily identified the suspect but did not name him. Hastings said the suspect was not a former employee of Gwatney’s but that he is from Arkansas. The suspect died at Baptist Hospital, Hastings said.

There's a headline you don't see every day. Almost, but not quite every day.
It’s terrible. Poor man.
I’m also highly suspicious. Arkansas? Is this the beginning?
