Washington - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said Wednesday that he regretted having put his two young children through an extensive interview on a US entertainment show - an extremely rare occurrence for politicians.
Obama, who has typically been very protective of his children's public profile, appeared Tuesday night on NBC's 'Access Hollywood' with his wife Michelle and daughters Malia and Sasha. The interview had been taped during Malia's 10th birthday party in Montana on July 4, US Independence Day.

Obama on Wednesday morning admitted he may have gone too far in allowing his children to speak on national television.
'I think that we got carried away in the moment. We were having a birthday party and everybody was laughing, and suddenly this thing cropped up,' he told NBC.
'We wouldn't do it again, and we won't be doing it again,' he said.

He’s just being a “typical black person.”
Of course it was. I heard a bunch of ranting on radio last night about him using his little kids to earn votes. He probably heard about the grumbling and had to make up excuses.
His oldest daughter spoke quite a lot and is more intelligent than either Barak or Michelle.
Just like when Michele went on the “View” and could not stop talking about Hussein’s supposed love of BACON!
In other words, as Art Linkletter said "Kids say the darnest things." Can't have either of his daughters letting slip some family secrets.

Judging from the TYPICAL, perennial chip-on-shoulder attitude whites get from much of black America, that is the TYPICAL dinner table conversation.
The Clintons were never shy about trotting Chelsea out on camera if it suited their purposes. This is just more of the same. If Obama is getting criticized for it, you have to ask yourself what’s up with that.

I predict that “regrets” are one thing we’ll all have in surplus if this goofball makes it to the Presidency.
What I do get upset with is Barack and his wife entrusting their religious instruction to an American hating, bigotted nut.

You don’t expose your kids, all their lives, to the kind of crap theology and ideology spouted at TUCC without WANTING them to take those values unto themselves.
