Washington - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said Wednesday that he regretted having put his two young children through an extensive interview on a US entertainment show - an extremely rare occurrence for politicians.
Obama, who has typically been very protective of his children's public profile, appeared Tuesday night on NBC's 'Access Hollywood' with his wife Michelle and daughters Malia and Sasha. The interview had been taped during Malia's 10th birthday party in Montana on July 4, US Independence Day.

Obama on Wednesday morning admitted he may have gone too far in allowing his children to speak on national television.
'I think that we got carried away in the moment. We were having a birthday party and everybody was laughing, and suddenly this thing cropped up,' he told NBC.
'We wouldn't do it again, and we won't be doing it again,' he said.

So Barack punished his wife with children??? How hateful.
And if he wins in November, he’ll decline to take the position because he “used” children. Right! Same old, same old ... b*ll sh*t!
He must have weighed the safety of his children against getting a few more votes. A ‘no brainer’, as Hillary would say.

That's him in a nutshell. He says something, 30 minutes later he has to go back on TV and take it back or "give a major speach about __________ (fill in the blank)".

Well, there’s an easy remedy for all of this. Maybe young politicians with young children shouldn’t run for president in the first place. The publicity will be that much more if he wins election and they move into the White House.
We seem to get a lot of “OOPS I didn’t mean to do it” from this man.
