BAGHDAD _U.S. authorities in Baghdad have received five severed fingers belonging to four Americans and an Austrian who were taken hostage more than a year ago in Iraq , U.S. officials said Wednesday.
The FBI is investigating the grisly development, and the families of the five kidnapped contractors have been notified, American officials said on condition of anonymity because they weren't authorized to discuss the case publicly.

Just pull the Obama lever, it's easy. I'm as conservative as the next guy, but we have to start thinking about survival now. McCain is all we have.
I watched some of his interview this evening at 9PM. He seems to be the toughest on terror, unless you speak about the dreaded water board.

Are you talking about the Man who went against the majority to invade Iraq once the ceasefire terms had been violated (and our planes were being shot at)?
Are you talking about the same Man who, when told over and over and over that we needed to reduce troop strength in Iraq instead successfully introduced the “surge”?
The same Man who sends out Christmas card greetings with actual scripture inside instead of the usual platitudes?
I may not always agree with the Man who is currently President of the United States of American, but I can’t stand idly by when his courage is questioned somewhat behind his back. I truly doubt that former President Saddam Hussein (from where he squirms in torment?) has quite the same disdain for him that you have.
From what I see, President George W. Bush is an honorable man.
