FEY: And finally, the most important Women’s News item there is, we have our first serious female presidential candidate in Hillary Clinton. And yet, women have come so far as feminists, that they don’t feel obligated to vote for a candidate just because she’s a woman.
Women today feel perfectly free to make whatever choice Oprah tells them to.
Which raises the question, why are people abandoning Hillary for Obama?
Some say that they’re put off by the fact that Hillary can’t control her husband, and that we would end up with co-presidents.
‘Cause that would be terrible, having two intelligent, qualified people working together to solve problems. Ugh.

Then there is the physical scrutiny of her physical appearance.
Rush Limbaugh, the Jeff Conaway of right wing radio, said that he doesn’t think America is ready to watch their president quote “turn into an old lady in front of them.” Really?
They didn’t seem to mind when Ronald Reagan did that.
Maybe what bothers me the most is that people say that Hillary is a bitch.
Let me say something about that: Yeah, she is.

I thought Fey’s line: “Bitch Is The New Black!” was actually a pretty good slam at Obama.
I did wonder why Mike Huckabee took part in the same skit that portrayed him as to dumb to understand that it was mathematically impossible for him to win.
Tina Fey jumped the shark seven years ago.
Liberals like other liberals to be the victims, so they can exploit their suffering (real or imagined) or even their deaths for their own political interests. Exhibit A: the Wellstone funeral.
BTW, one of my friends from college is in the Secret Service. She told me that when Pelosi became Speaker of the House (and next in line for the Presidency behind the Vice President), death threats against Bush and Cheney jumped dramatically.
On 30 Rock last year, long before the primaries, Tina Fey’s character was admitting secrets to her boyfriend and she said “There’s an 80% chance I’m going to tell my friends I’m voting for Obama and secretly vote for McCain.” I know it was just her character, but it was still pretty funny.

Funny, but they missed the new Shrillary campaign theme song, meant to announce her resurgence as a viable candidate in time for March 4:

Barack Obama=Jim Jones...its the kool aid rhetoric speaking to PRIMARY voters like axons firing to dendrites; oh BTW, the MSM has no influence at all in this process, not to mention she and her husband are crooks. Other than that, she’s a winner.
As the parent of a May 2008 BC grad, I have been more than pleased with the Catholic training she has received. Maybe things were different 14 years ago.
