Actually I know a few people who would agree with the article.

The $300 something million per plane is actually a very conservative estimate since the the F-22 started back in the early 80’s with the ATF program. There are a few sources that say the ATF program started as early as 1972, so the real cost if you include the funding over the 20 or 30 years is probably more than what the B-2 bomber costs.

And now with the Airforce playing politics with the F-15, they’re trying to get more F-22’s.
