You’re right, but we have to recruit conservative candidates to run. The usual RINOs in Congress won’t do.

It is better to destroy within than to stand on the sidelines and do nothing.

Mega bump my FRiend.

That’s kinda the way I’m looking at it. Conservatives retook the house seat from a RINO in my district in the last election. Now we just need to throw Carl Levin and Debbie Stabenow into lake Michigan.

I agree. Except that I have decided that most conservatives (and born again Christians) have become cowards.

Certainly agree 100%, in fact we never had a conservative Senate majority under Bush, unfortunately the Northeast (and other) RINOs were a significant part of the republican majority.

That should tell you how daunting it will be to elect a real conservative majority. Please folks, don’t think for a second you are putting a conservative majority in the Senate while the country elects a liberal democrat president. It just doesn’t work that way.

it wont happen this year but theres a shot at 2010. if a dem wins the presidency, the gop will most likely win the house in 2010. the senate looks a little tougher but definitely possible. could be looking at another revolution like ‘94, after 2 years of complete liberal power (both houses of congress and presidency) ripping apart the country.

if one of our rinos wins the presidency, look for the dems to increase their majorities in both chambers come 2010.

Although I am blessed to have great representation in DC, I should take up a “foster” candidate in some other district to support if that will help.

I don’t agree. Right now the Democratic candidates (all of them) are SOOOO Liberal and despite the shades of gray the MSM likes to explore.... that whichever one of them may win the WH, there will be instantaneous and irreversible changes for the worse across the board for this country.

Take a good look at Education, Health Care, the economy, the military, foreign policy, etc. as they are now. These things will be so changed, so fast once Liberals are in the WH that America will be FOREVER unrecognizable to you. These changes WILL be irreversible. Think about that and see if doesn’t keep you awake at night.

"Conservatives have to draw the line on reckless spending, government growth and massive entitlements that have never worked."

Very true. But how are the Conservatives going to overcome the Republicans?

True, but they can't stop THIS & if a Republican doesn't win the presidency, the courts will go left for the next few decades! :-(

We've got little shot there, either. The RNC is run by pro-amnesty, anti-soccon flaks put in place by G. W. Bush. This situation will probably be made worse by whoever his successor is if he wins in November.

We're looking at permanent minority status again in the Congress.

If that's the case, I'm hoping for a replacement party to spring up in time for 2012. The social/religious conservative base of the party will not wander in the wilderness for long.

Heeeey.... TBM....
Thanks for this post!
You've nailed it...

Please permit me to add:

Perhaps this has always been our BEST option, and by design of the founding fathers...

We have all.... too often....
Surrendered our responsibilities and stewardship of freedoms to the popularity contest we call presidential politics ---

But our true and authoritative representation has always remained in the Halls of Congress....

Sooooo let's throw them all out....
And replace them in toto

We only need 535 genuine...
Right-thinking...
God fearing...
Tax-paying....
Patriotic Americans!!

JMHO...

Please consider Dr. Deborah Travis Honeycutt, strong African American conservative in GA. Family medicine physician, active in healthcare issues, taxcuts, controlling the borders, pro life, national security, economic develppment, gun rights, and military supporter.

Buck it up.

Elect Mitt Romney President.

Voters will then, be treated to the stark comparison, daily, of our successful, smart, family-centered Republican president ... and the whining democrats as represented by Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.

Congress will go GOP, in 2 years. Max.
