Even I know enough about the Mormon religion to know that they do not believe that Jesus and the devil are brothers!

Sorry seek, but the Mormons do believe that.

They believe Jesus is the son of God, as do other Christians.

They believe the devil is the literal Son of God too. They believe that Jesus is his elder brother.

What I can’t believe is how anyone could consider voting for Mike Huckabee after learning the facts about him! Now I believe he is not only a RINO, he is a bigot!

He told the truth. Is telling the truth a sign of bigotry?

Your freeper handle is "seek the truth". Perhaps you should actually seek out the truth about Mormonism before you falsely accuse Huckabee of being a religious bigot.

The Mormons believe it. The fact that you are are shoocked at that thought that someone would accuse the Mormons of believing such a thing is evidence that if they did believe it, then you would not consider them Christians. But they do believe it. I learned it is Priesthood classes when I was a Mormon. It is all a part of their "you too can be a God" theology.

The current Romney camp strategy of seeking to squelch exposure of the heresies in Mormonism by calling exposure ‘bigotry’ may work to get him nominated, but the mainstream heathen media like Larry McDonald will militantly expose it all to get their Democrat nominee elected. That is the reality of the media in America and the campaign to squelch exposure has limited potency. At some point Christian Conservatives in a significant enough number will ot out from voting for the Mormonism candidate because of his status as a bishop in a religion too alien from Christianity but which he and his brethren insist on calling restored Christianity. It will get posed as if voting for Romney requires accepting that your ancestors cannot enter into God’s presence without Mormon baptism. Absurd? You bet, but that is the thread by which Romney’s efficacy as leader will be made to hang.

Thanks for clearing that up........I do believe Huckabee knows his Bible and about other religions. I keep getting hung up on John Smith and his gold tablets and multiple wives.......I didn’t know this about the Morman faith. While it isn’t a deal breaker for me, it is a negative. Romney remains my third choice over Huckabee though. I will be glad when this primary season is over.
