Was ID shown to be a scientific endeavour during the Dover trial? Absolutely! Did the bias of the judge and adversaries ignore the evidence presented? Absolutely! Now, we're seeing propoganda sites like PBS's Nova show blatantly misrepresenting Intelligent Design in an effort to mislead viewers and further the lie that intelligent design isn't a legitimate scientific process.

The fact that Nova and others have to resort to outright lies and misrepresentations in order to make their convoluted case should be a warning sign to anyone that their case is disingenious, yet sadly, many people will glom onto misleading shows like Nova as though it were the gospel truth despite the fact that their outright lies have been soundly refuted and exposed for the deceit that it is.

Does anyone remember when PBS truly was for the PUBLIC and not yet another liberal media outlet?

everything that doesnt support the DESIRED, DEMANDED, paradigm, is declared to be

1. creationism in disguise.

2. not real science

3. repeat 1 and 2 louder and louder.

I want those who say that “evolution without a creator does not deny the existence of God” to explain the evolutionary process that created God as well.

If, according to Behe, you're also considering astrology "science".

Parents need to take it on their own to supplement their children's education by teaching Intelligent Design at home.

That and make sure their children are not watching homosexual channels like PBS.

Many opponents of ID make it remarkably easy to tell if they’re liars — as soon as they equate it to anti-evolution/creationism, you know they’re dishonest.

Some day man will have invented a computer so powerful that it will be able to “observe” the various consumer electronic devices and kitchen appliances scattered throughout the home and “conclude” that the DVD player evolved from the VHS player, or at least they had a common ancestor, perhaps the reel-to-reel tape player. This sophisticated PC will “scientifically determine” that the microwave oven descended from the toaster oven, etc., etc.

UPDATE: A tenth PBS blunder is addressed, where PBS makes the false insinuation that intelligent design is no more scientific than astrology. Scroll down to read more.

Well, it was the ID expert, Dr. Behe that admitted under oath that under the definition of science that would accept ID, such a definition would also include astrology as science. ID spoke for itelf on that matter.

I caught 30 seconds of it and thought, "maybe they're going to treat this fairly." Then I came to my senses.

Can't wait to see "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed." This will be required homeschool viewing in our household. Later, PBS.

Nova Blatantly Misrepresents Intelligent Design

ID is fairly weak for that to be possible. It never was more than a thought experiment, a what if.

Here's some reference material taken from the Kitzmiller decision, to which the Nova show was remarkably faithful:

Kitzmas is Coming, Part I: Is ID Science?
Kitzmas is Coming, Part II: Who is the Intelligent Designer?
Kitzmas is Coming, Part III: What's the Wedge Document?
Kitzmas is Coming, Part IV: What about Pandas?
[Kitzmas is Coming, Part V: How did Behe do?
Kitzmas is Coming, Part VI: Behe (continued)
Kitzmas is Coming, Part VII: Alan Bonsell
Kitzmas is Coming, Part VIII: The Discovery Institute
Kitzmas is Coming, Part IX: Judicial Activism?

Also, has anyone read De Duve’s ‘Vital Dust’ or any such book that attempts to account for the earliest beginnings of the evolution of life on earth?

That book gives an explanation, but, even for the genius he may be (Nobel prize and all), it takes too many jumps in the earliest part of the ‘story of life’ for us layfolk to grasp whatever thread he hangs out there. That was about 10 years ago, maybe there is something newer?

Court transcripts were used. In it the main proponent of I.D. as Science admitted that if you used his definition of Science, then Astrology would at one time have been considered a Scientific theory. Nothing in the Dover trial established that I.D. was a scientific endeavor. Nothing.
