Hypothetically, would a tsunami pass through a Cat-5 hurricane?

would a tsunami pass through a Cat-5 hurricane?

Neither would notice the other.

Hypothetically, it will either snuff out the hurricane, or the hurricane will suck the ocean into space. ;-)

Too bad we can’t get a tsunami to run up the Potomac River. Aw, rats. Congress is out of town.

Neither would notice the other.

So that hypothetical situation would make for a really really $h!tty day.

It's possible. This earthquake won't generate one.

Yes, purely hypothetically.

Yes, you could be hit by the best of both effects at once, but that wouldn’t affect the owners of the Fed who all live well above sea level in foreign countries.

Global warming is making the Earth expand!

It's not that simple. All the oil we're pumping out of the Earth is making it shrivel up like a raisin. Burning that oil is causing Global Warming®. So, both problems can be blamed on the same evil people.
