How bout that you pissant Bush bashers. In retrospection over all the dissapointments, Who would Gore or Kerry have appointed to SCOTUS? How would the response to 9/11 or the ongoing GWOT have been run? Many other things to add, but that alone is enough to say that voting for the President was the right thing to do - then and now.

Excuse me???? A pissant Bush basher? That doesn’t even deserve a response, but hell, I’m feeling generous, so here goes...

I have defended this President, and this administration numerous times over the last 7 years. I even quit a party that I worked very hard for over the WOT (the LP). I have done as much as I can (as a civilian) to support the WOT.

For you to pretend that I am only interested in bashing Bush, proves you don’t know very much about me at all. I call it as I see it, and if Bush or ANY other elected representative no matter what party they belong to chooses to ignore the Constitution, or refuses to enforce our laws instead picking and choosing which ones they ‘like’ then I will level the appropriate amount of criticism to each.

Speaking of the GWOT — How in the world does OUR President’s actions support the WOT when it’s not only Mexican Illegal Aliens, but ME TERRORISTS that could’ve gained amnesty??? There is far too much double-speak.

I would NEVER support a Democrat for President, and I would always work like HELL to stop them from getting elected, but don’t expect me to sit back and take it when we are being betrayed by an elected official — ESPECIALLY when that individual should know better than to pull the kind of crapola they have in the last few months.

It is not enough to simply elect someone and then let them do whatever the hell they want while in office. THAT is why our system works — we have a voice and I’ll be damned if I don’t use it. There is a difference between demanding accountability, and offering no respect. President Bush is OUR President, and I respect him as such. Just because I don’t praise every action no matter what the consequences would be doesn’t place me among those on the left that LIE and MAKE-UP reasons to “bash Bush”.

I’m getting really tired of the condescension among those who can’t see beyond their political party. It is one thing to support your party during an election — quite another to let them get away with things that are NOT good for our country. That is something I will NEVER do...
