Only because it started earlier in the week. Cutts’s family had complained that they were getting death threats, bomb threats, things like that. Gee, I wonder why?
So, evidently they were hauling a bunch of stuff out of his house today “for safekeeping” and said there had been more threats, from the Klan. I expect it was probably Earnest T. Bass throwing rocks again with paper notes wrapped around them.
I’m just so sorry for Tim Miller and our wonderful Texas EquuSearch team for not being the finders of Jessie. I means, it’s OK - and it’s great that Cutts told them where she was, but I wish TES had gotten to bring her home.
They’ve had a hard week, with one of their team members losing both his parents in a boating accident - which they wound up going out on the search for. Long time boaters, just out for an evening spin - boat came back empty, still running - mother’s body found in the water first, then the father a little later.
Jessie was found in “Keyser City Park near Cuyahoga Valley National Park, in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.” I think Tim’s team was miles away, dutifully searching from some tips.
NPS land might make this a federal crime? Not sure. Connor’s Law certainly should apply, no matter what - but OH might have something even worse in store for this POS.

But he screwed up - a bleach and chlorine mix will kill the DNA, but bleach will not. Bleach only hides the blood.
I guess he didn’t even watch CSI. Good thing he and Scott Peterson were idiots. I read some fantastic theories during the Peterson case from armchair investigators that if Peterson were half as smart, would have him living scot-free with no trace of a body.

She's only three right now but someday there will be another story like this. Someday some beautiful young woman will be dead, denied the vibrant life the good Lord gave her for bad choices, for ignoring the signs, for lacking the self-confidence to make better choices. YES! There's a lesson in Jessie Davis' life! I want my granddaughter to learn it. I want to see it discussed in a public venue...I'm a Blogger for God's sake...talk about yer idiot.
Unfortunately I have to "judge" people. I have to, as part of the public thought, as part of my 1/100000000 piece of it, as part of the jury of the middle class, keepers of the common sense, ...I have to make a verdict. I vote it in my very small part of the public discourse that it is a bad thing to have babies with married men.
I wish I didn't have to "judge" Jessie Davis. I bet juries resent having to judge others too.

Not lying, not at all. I do know that MOST of the parishes I have been part of post or publish a “Worship is not casual activity” guideline at the beginning of summer.
I admit I am guilty of wearing shorts to Mass, In summer heat I melt—yeh I know thats not an excuse cause the priest wears vestments. But that Mass I saw that and was just shocked.
If and when I have daughters I am going to teach them the good sense of modest dress, and if I have to use my costume design skills and sew their clothes for them then so be it—I understand there is little that would be considered modest nowadays.
