>>>>>Well, I am going to be mostly on lurk mode, since there are few people left whom I care to post to. Very sad that few here can see what a bad impression of conservatism they have given to the public.

For the last few years many FReepers took a wrong turn. They began to fully embrace more centrist politics, spouting off support for liberal issues, liberal causes and even liberal candidates. Directly undermining the conservative mission of this forum. Those FReepers who decided to hit the road by choice, or those who were sent packing for general bad behavior, amounted to a handful of posters. Several were your old pals of yours. Most deserved what they got. Now you're all over at the TOS, and your welcome to it.

You're absolutely right, RM. Certain voices had become dominant to the point that FR was straying significantly from its conservative course. There has been a course correction and it only stands to reason that the few (and it was always just a few, but it was a very LOUD and aggressive few) who had worked so hard to take control of the ship are now angry and sullen over their loss of control. They are now proving that they know how to play the victim card better than any liberal.

Of course many of them could stay, but they don't find the house rules to their liking. So they've exercised their free will, opused, and moved on.
