I am not sure anyone is actually seeking to abolish taxes per se; but to abolish perhaps unconstitutional taxes? Or taxes which have been enacted under the doctrines of Karl Marx.

There are lawful forms of taxation and then there are the kind of taxations that have been allowed to be enacted in the later 20th century.

I’d be against most of the later myself.

I wondered about that but the constitutional arguments about the constitutionality of various taxes including the income tax only apply at the Federal level as far as I know...

Oh, and given the tone of the thread I’ll go ahead and disclose that I think the income tax is as clearly constitutional as any other tax. :)
