Recent events are good reasons to celebrate and be happy. Its the rebirth of conservatism on FR.

A rebirth of conservatism of FR where those who would dare to fact check or dissent due to an atmosphere of fear created by a very small group of FReepers isn't a good a good thing.

You may want to turn this site into an echo chamber for your views, but it is really not in this forum's best interest. Some of my best posts have come BECAUSE those who disagree have questioned what I said. And I doubt I'm the only FReeper who can say that.

If you don't like the current direction Jim`s taking this forum, no good reason for you to hang around.

The main problem I have with the direction Jim has taken lately is that forum rules haven't been followed on this thread and elsewhere.

The posting page alternatively says "Please: NO profanity, NO personal attacks, NO racism or violence in posts." Yet some posters have called current and former FReepers "b&#ches" and other profane names and have personally attacked other FReepers - without being admonished by an Admin Moderator to "knock it off" or having their comments deleted. In particular, profanity was never tolerated before. I don't understand why it has been on this thread.

While I'm not happy some FReepers have been banned, it's Jim's house, and I recognize he can ban whomever he wants.

By the way, do you understand why telling FReepers in good standing there is "no good reason for you to hang around" or "enter the bug zapper" is offensive to many of us?

It's also offensive for someone to publicly state "they wish to be removed"......and then keep posting and insulting people. Makes no sense.

The days of liberalism and Rudyism are ending quickly. Conservatism is the only acceptable political game on FR anymore. Read the following, you might find it helpful.
