I'm sorry. Hagel is wrong on the war, but his lifetime ACU rating would make some of our "conservative" senators blush. He's not a democrat, not a liberal, and not likely to switch parties.

Hopefully we won't give him the chance, but will vote him out in a primary.

If folks here think that Republican voters will punish, a politician for voting against the Iraq war they are fooling themselves. Ron Paul has opposed the war from the beginning and has won a landslide in every primary and general election including 2006. By contrast,many many, pro-war pubbies went down to defeat. Smith and Hagel will not suffer because of their votes and, given the public climate, may gain votes because of them.

He made the wrong vote on the most important issue of our life time! That by itself should brand him as a traitor.
