Steel Yourselves
War of Wits ^ | 1/15/07 | Jayme Evans

All of this Democratic hand-wringing and knee-jerking is poisonous to this country, and I want no part of it. Only by rejecting these tendencies, did the United States become the military, industrial, economic, and technological superpower that it remains today. Only by rejecting these tendencies every time we confront them, will we continue to remain a free nation.

History, not Congressman Chuck Hagel (R-NB) will be the judge whether the addition of 20,000 plus troops was the the most dangerous foreign policy blunder since Vietnam. Nor will history look favorably upon the naysayers in either party, once the consequences of a defeat begin to materialize. You are, in essence, betting against your own military.

I tried, I tried.

"How close was that race, anyway?"

Aside from probable shenanigans, it was likely won.

Everything that is happening nationally, with Media lies and distortions, (Democrat) legislative antipathy, and voter irregularities -- happens in Maryland to an absurd and disturbing degree.

Only three political divisions out of two dozen carried the state. In Maryland, it isn't representative government -- it's machine politics.

Well, one good thing about the midterms:

It's going to remind people how terrible Democratic "leadership" and majority really are...

In two months, all the traitors will be taking credit for the turnaround in Iraq. They'll say it was their "brave stance" that caused the Iraqi government to finally get moving. We should start a pool as to when that B.S. first appears.

Given what he had to face (very bad year for his party in an overwhelmingly liberal Democrat state) Michael Steele ran very well. Hopefully, we'll hear from him again.

I guess the truly amazing thing for which we should be grateful is that Ehrlich and Steele got elected here at all.

I suppose the voter's pique and irritation at his predecessor, commonly known as "Spendening", wore off or got forgotten very quickly.
