BIG FLAG ARRIVES IN OLNEY: Week 62 - Olney,MD, 03-03-07: Operation Infinite FReep
March 07,2007 | Trooprally

Posted on 03/07/2007 5:37:20 PM PST by trooprally

It took just an instant to decide that iMacMan's BIG FLAG will be the main stay of our corner. Lurker Bill is in back ground looking on and that's HollyB in fore ground. This is her first full Olney FReep.

In preparing for iMacMan holding down the Olney corner on March 17 with help from some locals, he wanted to see how his flag would be put up and how it looked. We had already put up the regular smaller flag but it would take just a few minutes to replace it.

BELOW TOP LEFT:Me and iMacMan unraveling the lines. BELOW TOP RIGHT: Replacing the smaller flag with larger flag. BELOW BOTTOM: Removing small flag to attach it to the tree behind the red banner.

FReepers and Lurkers attending this sunny FReep were: Cindy-True_Supporter (CTS), Fraxinus, HollyB, iMacMan, (iMM), Lurker Bill (aka Lurker Bill from MD on Walter Reed AARs) and daughter, [Mrs] Trooprally, ([Mrs] T), and myself. Once again, there were 9 moonbats.

Pics by iMacMan and [Mrs] T.

We had numerous walkers/runners come by today. Each one Thanked us. HollyB was excited about seeing the bus drivers waving. The police car that whopped his siren also was also a surprise to her.

BELOW: Our corner showing the 3 banners and the small flag attached to the tree.

BELOW LEFT: CTS and HollyB. BELOW RIGHT: Lurker Bill and daughter. After some freezing cold days, his daughter finally braved the chill.

TOKEN MOONBAT PIC:

I hope no one gets tired of iMacMan's great pics of passing cars waving to us. To us in Olney, their support is very heartening, especially on those freezing cold mornings. There are so many honks and waves for us, that iMacMan just has to point and click. And he doesn't take pics the whole time!! These pics are compared to the less than a dozen that the moonbats get. And we have personal accounts from several people, that some of the honks "for" the moonbats are just to get their attention so the driver can either flip them off or yell at them.

REMEMBER
Next Saturday, same place, Georgia Avenue, MD Rte. 97 and MD Rte. 108 in Olney
NEW TIME - 10:15 AM to 11:45 AM

As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.

RE: Olney FReep -

If you live in northern VA and want a short cut to Olney See Post 39 Here. It's an easy 20 minute drive from the American Legion Bridge.

A special Thanks to a FReeper FRiend for enhancing the original plain type directions.

The Archive of Olney FReeps is here or in the LINKS section of Trooprally's ABOUT Page.

Olney Needs Your Help On March 17. As of now only one FReeper plans to be at Olney on Saturday the 17. The others will be down in D.C. with the big Protect the Vietnam Wall Rally there. If you are not attending the D.C. Rally and can help in Olney, please FReepmail me. We are also checking on some locals to be there.

For the Jan. 27 Rally in D.C., all the moonbats deserted their corner and we were unopposed. We're hoping for the same, but we don't want to leave our corner vacant.

Also, if you plan to be in D.C. on March 17, please let Just A Nobody know. She is assuming a lot of you will be there, but unless you contact her, we cannot count you. We need a near definite number for planning purposes, you know, for the MOAB, props and signs. The more the merrier.

Justa's latest UPDATE.

Our permitted FReep position will be in close proximity of the Vietnam Wall, so you can be in two places at one time. It is also along the moonbats march route.

March 17 pdf fliers are available. Please print them and hand them out. If you want something to hang on a bulletin board, just print out Page 2.

Protecting the WWII and Korean War Memorials is also in the mix. If the moonbats can't vandalize the Wall, they may go else where. The Wall though is primary since the idiot moonbats started hating America during the Vietnam era. They also want to use the Wall as their back drop.

Hi there again!

It looks like a little better weather than last time!

The "big" flag is a nice addition, but the happy faces are the best part. Wish I could be there...especially for the 17th, GOE's.

Fraxinus...nice to see you there supporting the OLNEY GANG! I hope the new house is all you wanted it to be.

Great photos. I would like to post a picture of your flag and the rally and a photo of the lady holding a banner that says "We honor our military" -- would give credit to your posting, of course. Am trying to keep interest for March 17 on the Mall alive and have also added the caravan to our prayer list for safe travels without mishaps.

Thanks for getting back to me. I was hoping it would be okay. I want to sent out a bunch of e-mails to friends in California and others in the south. Love the pictures. I just wanted to use the one photo of the lady with the sign about God blessing our military and the sign about honoring our troops.

Fraxinus...nice to see you there supporting the OLNEY GANG! I hope the new house is all you wanted it to be.

The new place is more strategically located for frequent freeping.

This thread needs more pings, good thing I now have a reliable internet connection.
