In IE, click "Tools", then "Internet Options", then under Temporary Internet Files, click the settings button, then click the "View Files" button, and delete any "Cookies" from "www.billingsgazette.net".

Maybe post the link to the poll on the FReepathon thread?

That might be a good idea. Lots of FReepers are hanging out in that thread most of the time.

Just don't delete the ones from Free Republic (www.freerepublic.com) or you'll have to log in again.

That's a good piece of software. I use a piece of software I bought at Wal-Mart a couple years ago, called System Suite, it has the ability to clean out unwanted files, and in the browser cookies section you can check mark cookies you want to "protect" from both SS and the associated browser, so every time you clear out your cookies, IE or Firefox can't delete the protected ones.

It's all too damn complicated for me. I have had my fill of computer frustration for today. Damn windows updated overnight and closed the windows I wanted and cannot reaccess.
